Im a stay at home dad and my 3yr will be trying to get me to do things with him.
Any tips on keeping the youngin pre occupied for the day???

or a tablet 
or give them an old mouse and keyboard and let them pretend there playing with you.

Yes. Devote most of your free time to your child.
Play WoW when he’s napping or after bedtime.
In 20 years Classic WoW will be a memory (a good one, we hope), but your boy will be 23 and memories of being with him while he’s growing seem to me to be far more important than a game.

I;m lucky in that sense. All 3 - my 6 yo boy, 1 yo bunny and a kitty 6 week old i just rescued a week ago all 3 curl up beside and watch me play wow.

Lol i just want 1 day. Im all about my son 24/7. Im not going to abandon him, just need advice on activities i can do to pre occupy a day.

sit him on your lap so he can see what you are doing, and if you have to go afk have him farm mats for you

You can always have another kid, but WoW classic only comes around once.

As a stay at home mom with two kids, it’s not that hard to WoW and watch them.
When they were younger I set up their play area in my office. They had a TV for their kids shows and movies, and lots of toys and snacks to keep them happy. You probably have to take frequent quick breaks though, its part of having kids. I also never wore a headset or hung out in discord while I was the only one home so I could multitask watching them while killing boars.
Now that they are old enough (7 & 9) they are going to play Classic for the first time today, and experience the game they’ve been watching mommy play since the beginning. Good stuff.

Have you considered boarding school. It would be the most efficient. Like sending your kid on a mission from your garrison. When he/she/they come back they will have lvled up and gained new skills.

I tried this in Ff14… he got me killed multiple times… he knows how to use a mouse and the space key lol
My daughter is 4 and has had her computer since she was 2. Its amazing how fast she picked it up and plays her own games. I even play retail wow with her on her free account sometimes. Mostly she just wants to play hide and seek, not interested in questing or anything. She absolutely loves roblox games, and honestly some of the are fun.
This is a tech driven world. Better get them into computers sooner than later or they will fall behind. Imagine what came out in the last twenty years. In another twenty years its going to be a crazy world.

just dont take it today or tomorrow. take it Wed after blizzard releases more servers. Today and tomorrow will be a crap show.

A notepad and coloured pens. Ask him to draw certain things and show it to you, that way the majority of his time will be drawing and you just habe to show interest for 20 seconds with each picture while he explains it. Also getting out any toys that he may have outgrown that you have boxed up. New things (or old that havent been out for a while) are the best things for keeping them entertained with individual play. Also if he has little cars, getting him to do races around the house with the cars and you try to pick the winning car will entertain him without you having to leave the computer.

My 5 year old will be watching YouTube on mommy’s phone while we hop in. She’s learning Spanish and Russian (by her own choice!).

and stairs. i remember the laundry basket was an indoor sled for me
I always tried to make it out the front door which was 4’ left of the bottom of the stairs. But man oh man did i try to make it out that door. i made it through the wall once and that was HUGE accomplishment ! until my dad made me fix the whole.

My son can do paint on pc pretty well. He actually plays and have beaten multiple Nintendo Switch games (with my help on the reading text) like Mario Odyssey and Lego City Undercover. Soon ill build him his own pc.
