I’m going to PvP with my rogue. He is an Orc but I’m considering going Nelf for Shadowmeld. The problem is my server is full Horde…
Any ideas?
Shadowmeld is really useful if you’re good enough to meld a storm bolt or HoJ, but has particular use for Rogue getting to shadowmeld → stealth.
That said, in all honesty, the racial isn’t going to be a carry tool here. If you already have an Orc Rogue, prefer playing Horde, and want to stay on your server just roll Orc. Night Elf is better for Rogue than Orc for sure, but it’s not going to drastically change the playstyle, and Orc isn’t going to keep you from hitting a rating you would’ve got as a Night Elf.

There are Horde options that would help you perform in PvP arguably better if that’s what you’re looking for here. Shadow Meld is good but so is WotF, is great in PvP.
If you were to switch to Alliance I think you should consider swapping to Dwarf. Stoneform is basically a Cloak of Shadows but better as it removes bleeds allowing you to disengage via Vanish in instances no other Rogue could.
doesnt the pvp talent veil of midnight do that because it makes cloak cleanse physical effects too?
