Need advice on leggo

Hello fellow brethren of the light

I need guidance as to what is the best piece of legendary armor to craft for a paladin that is mastered in retribution, protection and holy.

Any input would be appreciated, especially from those with high honor ranks.

May the light be with you

If you’re in PvP Reign of The Endless Kings is really strong.

Otherwise Mad Paragon or, I believe, Magistrate’s can work.

At least in regards to a one-size-fits-all type of legendary.

Thank you for the feedback!

I started my pally alt as well. Thinking of The Mad Paragon, The Magistrate’s Judgment and Lightbringer’s Tempes. Decided to go with The Magistrate’s Judgment since it can still work with Prot. I usually go prot with OW and callings so having to only craft and work on one lego seems a decent choice.

Has anyone had experience with the dusk/dawn one?

Use final verdict to 2x TV people to 0% all the way to 1400

I love being mid range again. I’m hoping for 2 legendaries at some point, so I can get the holy tornado back, lol.

I’ve been waiting for it since I saw the legendary powers. I remember back in Legion the first time I unlocked that talent thinking, I wish I had final verdict with this. I’m loving ret right now. Kyrian with the DT conduit honestly feels like what windfury should be, maybe with a 30 second CD, and a better proc rate for at least 2 extra hits. The big boosts to mastery for big hits. I’m enjoying the feel. I’m cool with being in the middle for DPS, too. Fun helps with lesser performances.

Edit: also, DP with all you mentioned has a chance for huge AoE burst, though, not reliable, but very fun.

Magistrates Judgment is good for Prot and Ret.

Relentless Inquisitor is good for all three.

But you’re gonna want more than one leg, imo.

So what legos is actually good for ret:
The Mad Paragon: Hammer of Wrath deals 30% additional damage and extends the duration of
Crusade
Crusade

Avenging Crusader
Avenging Crusader

Avenging Wrath by 1 sec.

The Magistrate’s Judgment

grants a chance for your Judgment casts to reduce the cost of your next Holy Power spender by 1. This chance depends on specialization with the following chances:

Holy has 60%.
Protection has 45%.
Retribution has 75%.

Lightbringer’s Tempes
Divine Storm projects an additional wave of light, striking all enemies up to 20 yards in front of you for 20% of Divine Storm’s damage.

Final Verdict
Replaces Templar’s Verdict with Final Verdict, a devastating strike that deals (223% of Attack power) Holy damage. Has a 15% chance to activate Hammer of Wrath and reset its cooldown.

According to WOW HEAD Final Verdict got a buff since patch 9.0.5 “Another Legendary that has become a lot stronger after 9.0.5, as it now does 15% more damage than a normal Templar’s Verdict. It has a 15% to reset Hammer of Wrath’s cooldown and make it usable on any target, and also has a range of 12 yards, which allows you to perform the majority of your rotation from a much further distance away from your target, since many of Ret’s Holy Power generators are also ranged. After the buff it received it’s now one of the strongest Legendaries in pure single target situations.”

However on Icy venis “Kyrian - The Magistrate’s Judgment Icon The Magistrate’s Judgment is a great all-purpose Legendary for Kyrian Retribution Paladins. It has the second best single-target and second-best AoE potential.”

So it seems everyone is saying a little different. I did read the comments and it seems The Magistrate’s Judgment was tough to be good for Divine Toll it might trigger its affect but it doesn’t.

Final Verdict seems a pretty lego now with the buff and Lightbringer’s Tempes seems like is really good in AoE especially in m+ even though Divne storm is still AoE capped but the damage the projection it does isn’t.

So hard to decide…

Honestly, unless you’re trying to be a parse lord or push high rating, legendaries aren’t going to be that impactful to the point where its mandatory. Just make 190 versions of the ones you’re interested in and then when you find the one that fits your playstyle/is the most fun for you, you can 235 it.

It feels ret pallys have so much more options and each one is very close (unlike some class/spec where is pretty much black and white which one is better or which is mainly for AoE or ST).

Thanks for all the feedback!

I ended up taking the paragon, 210ilvl to save some ash. I was quite disappointed that “of dusk and dawn” is not as viable as the others, but who knows maybe next patch it will get buffed
