Need advice, Mounting the GPU vertically

Hey,

I’m about to mount my GPU vertically but I have 3 extra ARGB fans sitting on my room unused.

Would putting the fans under the GPU effect the airflow? since the GPU air is going to go behind the Motherboard while mounted vertically.

Basically I’m trying to put 3 fans under the vertical GPU. But the fans will be facing down to push up.

Good or bad?

The fans under the GPU is exactly what I’m trying to do. but here the GPU is being mounted normally not vertically so. that’s why I asked.

Guys video have a blower card so it didn’t matter because the fan would push the hot air out of the card to the back of the case

A 3rd party card could interfere the cooling due to how they blow hot air out, inside the case

If the bottom fans were exhaust fans then I wouldn’t think it be an issue

So what you are telling me if I mount the GPU vertically and still put the 3 fans down pushing up its fine? or it would force high temps.

Hot air rises, so what I could think is the bottom fans can take in air and then have your top fans exhaust

That’s what I would think be alright, since you’re doing it vertical

I have the same case with the RX 5700 XT Taichi and I have it vertical. There is a TON of room between the GPU and Glass and because I have the side fans as intake it actually runs 3-4*C cooler vertical. Because the air comes in, bounces off the glass into the GPU.
