Need a way to farm Polished Charms consistently

In this last week i think i’ve managed to get like 25 charms. Which is hot garbage considering how many pets and toys i still need.

I get 25 charms by accident every week.

Bottom line. You need more than one 120 level character. At least 4, maybe more.

Farm every WQ that comes up. Do every pet battle mission that comes up on the mission table.

Make sure you run the one time missions on all your 110+ characters. They are listed in a post from littletiny in this thread:

PvP battles award the occasional charm.

You can get 18 in Nazjatar today - and a blue battle-stone in Mechagon.
I guess the other days this week charms have been available you have not been able to play. There have been quite a few charm quests up.

I ran two lvl 120s through every pet battle I could find. Plus every time a mission came up, I made sure to max out on it (so I’d get the bonus charms too). (one horde, one alliance) Mailed all the pet charms to one 120, bought all the pets/toys I could on that one, then sent pet charms to the 2nd 120 and bought the stuff on that side.z

I'm only missing a couple of purchaseable pets, because I haven't done all of the requirements to purchase them yet.   It took me, oh, less than 3 months (and I have the charms to purchase the missing stuff, just not the req).

Run as many 120s as you can, do every pet battle that gives charms (and level ups too) and the missions.

Don’t forget about your mission table, if you can roll a success and a bonus you’ll get a lot of charms that way.

You need to check world quests more often. New pet quests can pop every 12 hours, don’t do them if the reward isn’t charms.

I got ~1150 pet charms in the last week. Granted, I have 8 max level toons so I can do each world quest multiple times, but that’s about 140 per toon. If you are only getting 25, then you are just missing quests. I don’t even do the table missions.

don’t listen to any of these people and get out while you still can!

farming pet charms is a literal obsession it’s worse than crack and m3th combined

i clear the map of all relevant pet WQ’s every day on 4 toons and now i hate myself for going down this rabbit hole

also, i had tacos yesterday they were delicious

Ok, newbie here. I follow what you guys are saying about gathering pet charms almost… all but some of your acronyms and where they come from in general.
I have 10 Polished Pet Charms in my bags and have no idea where I got them. Been playing about following the story arc in Kul-Tiras with my brother when he can get on which has left me waiting to start-up in Drustvar till he gets back with me. I have however been spelunking about on the rest of the islands doing random quest while waiting.
Specific questions…

  1. What are WQ’s?
  2. Do I get these from pet battles or quest?
  3. Don’t remember seeing any pet quest, where do you find those?

I am a level 42 Hunter at the moment.

WQ stands for World Quest. These become available to you at a certain point in each expansion. Can’t really remember what the prerequisites are for Legion and BFA. But in Shadowlands it’s a little more clear cut (because it’s current content).

Polished Pet charms started dropping in BFA. Some are dropped from chests or rares (which is probably where you got them), or from mission tables.

Pet quests are just a type of World Quest.
