I just race changed to dwarf. I need a good ferocity pet to go with an ironforge dwarf.
Any ideas?

You could go for the Jade Cat in the Jade Forest or the Obsidian Cat on the Molten Front since they look like there things a dwarf would carve with their own hands.
Or get one of the protowolves from ZM for that same carved out look.

If you’re playing a BM hunter go with a Core Hound. Nothing says dwarf like fire and magma.

There are the Shardhides, members of the Scalehide family.
They resemble bears, but are a Ferocity pet.
Go to the dwarf start area and tame pets from those regions. Tame the wildlife that are indigenous to that region.
Bumble bee would be fitting 
We all probably have seen the World of Warcraft cinematic.
Remember how it starts out, showing a Dwarven Hunter and his “pet” companion, a bear, walking through the snow?
Wouldn’t that make a bear a strong choice for thematic correctness?
I think it’s perfect… except Bears are Tenacity Pets, OP wants Ferocity.
Thats why I suggested Shardhides, as they resemble bears (mutant bears), and they are Ferocity Pets. One other thing, their pet abilities enable Shardhides to perform well in a tanking role.
