i need suggestions for a new game since im not allowed to play above a casual level if im not LKSJDfghbzdfkjghkdfs meta spec. spending 2+ hours to be invited to just a 10 and be kicked for “ERR MAH GERD HE NOT FIRE !!! ARRRMAAARRRGOOORDDDD” you have been removed from the group is not the game i signed up for… thank you blizzard for making sure frost was nerfed 3 days before launch just so it woudlnt be above fire, then leaving it for 2 months only tyo bandaid and bandaid it just in time for MDI to showcase how supreme fire is and all others are trash ofr anything above +5. would love to keep playing, but would liek to actually play instead of waiting to be allowed to do so.
blizzard mnight not be the current reason for this issue, but just liek the faction imbalance (you know, that thing ion says is allllmoooost prettty cloooose to abooouuut 50/50) they might not be ther current cause, but the root of it was blizzard and the reverberations that their decisions echos into the community… and then the mdi showcasing how awsome it is for meta classes to be meta because they’re meta at being meta and omg just sooo strong at being meta…
had real hopes for SL, even after it was rush just to catch that holiday $…but this has gotten as old as “just go fire” “why arent you fire breh?>?” “be fire kekw”
buyers remorse, i shoulda done like many of my friends and just hit the refund button when offers i guess but that “well maybe it’ll be better This time” carrot…
rambling, this post is proabbly a mess but whatever i doubt im the only one who feels this way so gonna leave it how it is and just go with it

honestly i dont even know jujst Something that’s not this current nonsense :\ i was actually thinking of finally getting around to d3, but at the same time im feeling sorta petty and dont went to feel like im supporting blizzard after how they’ve got me feeling

Frost mage did just get buffed and fire nerfed.

Take up fighting games, really a blast when you put in a bit of practice and get the mechanics down.
Tekken is the deepest/best but also the hardest.
Killer instinct is probably as good but not as hard.
Street fighter 5 sucks and is the easiest to learn.
Guilty gear is good/medium hard to learn

i know they were buffed, that’s what makes it even more rough. i know it Can perform well enough… but community perception because of the initial gimp blizzard did to it and leaving it for so long it became a meme. only for them to finally buff it, then buff it some more just in time for mdi to showcase how king fire is…nevermind those mdi pulls are unrealistic for the majority of retail player, the perception is there that “we need fire, fkk frost they were weak…probably still are since blizzard buffed them again, nobody plays frost i bet it’s still trash” no tknocking the spec’s strentth, at this point it’s almosta snowball effect created by blizzard having nerfed it so hard befor elaunch that it was not only un-competetive, but flat out unviable for so long

I feel for ya mate. I was gonna play frost mage as well for it to get gutted before launch, but I have to ask why are you posting this in the mage forum and not general?

I’m about to get KSM as frost. It aint that hard. I’ve yet to have anyone in a pug criticize me over not playing fire when i start pulling 15k dps on trash.

possible that it’s that ally has only elitist old men left with more and more people going horde iunno :\ sign in and be feeling optimistic, try finding groups within my comfort zone. im sure i Could do the damage for 14s and 15s but i dont have the experience i’d like to have to actually go for those but same time cant get an invite to groups in the 10 11 12 range to practice. either declined, apply left to idle out, or invited then kicked 20 seconds later after /inspect and see that im not fire. makes for not even wanting to bother anymore 
well I just rerolled to fire from arcane. I wasted one mounth because of learning a new spec.

not sure what sort of game im after, been at wow too long it’s melted my brain towards playing something else
sorta hoping someone suggests something ive already got on epic but havent gotten to yet. virus junk got me poor af and rather not pirate something that’s worthy enough to be reco’d. didnt even realize baldur’s gate 3 had actually been released until i saw it above but thats 60$ so i gott agive it a miss for now sadly. ie poe actually worthwhile?

Blizz really dropped the ball on Frost when they waited for so long to address it, frost being so weak for some time can cause a lot of damage (community perception).
