I’m reading guides how to get quick anima power and they say to farm Zereth MOrtis.
My old main is reknown 61 atm and has access, but I thought I received 1k anima for new alts last year? Or do I need to be reknown 80 for that
I don’t know the exact sources for anima but IIRC Zereth Mortis quests, world quests, and the big weekly quest all give a pretty decent amount of anima. As for the 1k anima for new alts, I don’t remember or know what that is. Either way, I think your fastest bet to get tons of anima is to just do Zereth Mortis stuff.
If you have anima on your old main you can you buy an item from the person by the flightmaster in Oribos to send to your alt. It’s a 1000 anima for 1000 anima trade.
You get a chunk of anima rewards at various Renown levels, all of them below 60.
This means that you could buy four of the auto-60 Renown items on a fresh alt, go down to the Covenant representatives, and swap between all of them to instantly make 4k anima.
Only works once per character, of course.

If you buy the thing that gives alts renown 60 they should get at least 1k each at 40. Maybe more beyond that. Then you just send it to whichever character needs it.

Just do Shadowlands content.
I wish the tables would have more anima missions. Reputaion is OK, but mats and a bit of gold are worthless when you need anima because you want a couple of mogs.

i too am grinding anima and your best bet is rares and world quests. for the long plan upgrade your covenants anima siphon so world quests open up and reward more
also zerith mortis, but if you cannot fly there yet im not sure if it would be faster
You need renown 80 with one covenant on one toon, then you’ll be able to buy BoA renown tokens to be used on covenants below renown 60, be it on the same toon or alts.
The vendor is by the Flight Master in Oribos.
Once you use the renown tokens, you’ll get at least 1k anima per character. Use that anima to buy BoA anima tokens from the same vendor, and mail them to the toon who needs it.
I read i need to do chapter 3 of the zerith mortis so im en route to that and hopefully get close to lvl 80 reknown
But at least unlocking zerith mortis for my SL alt with like 10x the health will really speed things up for the map content
