this needs to happen… necromancer needs to be a class added to the game. all the necromancer NPC’s in maldraxxus are making me jealous with their cool spell animations

We didn’t get Necromancers in the Shadowlands expansion where they would fit perfectly.

I don’t see Necromancers happening. Blizzard views Death Knights as WoW’s necromancer.

I dunno they could make a caster necromancer work without taking things from Warlock if they tried. Locks have the portals and cookies. I would say necromancer could be a pet class /w undead but maybe give them spells/abilities that use the caster’s HP to cast then others are life drains so you have a balance between using your own life to fuel your abilities balanced with keeping yourself healed by draining life from your enemies.

Why does Necromancer have to be a rework of Warlock or DK du u have no imagination peoples.

Oh and by the way Unholy magic isnt for DK only.i mean 2 class use Holy Magic/ 2 class us frost/2 class use fire.

So why do u limit yourself to 1 when its unholy magic

For those that think Necromancers would trample on warlocks or DK’s…

I find your lack of imagination…disturbing.

Especially after seeing all the abilities used by NPCs and players since Shadowlands started.

Just one random lich in Theater of Pain casts things like Death Winds, Grave Spike, Bone Spear.

My necromancer trainee made minions out of stuff I killed and put down a green healing/haste puddle to stand in. Now that I think about it shadowlands would have been great time to introduce some new classes. Ok sure they have trouble balancing the ones they have. At very least let incriptionists craft glyphs to let us change the look of our abilities to match covenant themes. Such an overlooked opportunity there particularly with how bare bones inscription is this expansion. Something for them to craft and sell without messing with ability balance.

I would hope not. I really like my warlocks.

I think if they tried they could add a necromancer as a clothie spec and make it different enough from warlocks and dks.

It not really hard. I mean u got 2 holy user as Healer. Both their playstyle is different so it just need a bit of imagination
