Necromancer or Tinkerer?

Idk why people are so obsessed with necromancers when we already have Death Knights. Death Knights are necromancers.

Tinkerer sounds so boring. No more weird mechanical gnome/goblin stuff. Its honestly ugly as sin. A new interesting ranged class would be my choice.

Was never interested in tinkers. It just sounds goofy.

Necromancer would fill the roll of a death based caster. As close as warlocks are, they don’t deal with disease, death, or blood magic.

I think warlocks should have been necromancers all along.

Why not both? Why are WoW players pre-negotiating their asks down to the minimum?

Tinker. But just for Gnomes and Goblins (okay, maybe Dwarves also).

If it’s a true necromancer using animated corpses and shadow magic, not borrowed powers from Maldraxxus then I’m all for a true Necromancer class. But if it’s some watered down, neutered, morally grey, SJW style necromancer then no thanks.

I want some true evil, bad guys for the sake of being bad types back in the game. I’m tired of all the “I did bad for the greater good OR I was a pawn of someone and it wasn’t really me doing those bad things” type crap.

Eh, we’ve already got engineers.

I wonder why all the ideas (on these forums) are limited to these two.

Eh, Dragonsworn and Bards are also in vogue.

But yeah both would be best. They must both have a tank spec and give way to some cool allied races.

You can be horde and answer elune when she calls you.

Neither. We don’t need any more classes.

We should get a bender class with 4 specs: Air, Earth, Fire and water with blood bending.

Tinkerer because necromancer is pretty much in the game.

Tinkerer could be sick! Big Mech machine to fight in with machine guns / rocket launchers / buzz saws. Or an explosives expert! Also a healer role to heal people through gnomish/goblin engineering! Gnome / Goblin only class!

DK + Warlock = Necromancer.

My problem with all of these is that they would invariably be homogenized into builder spender with either builder procs + builder bar + dump, builder procs + stacks + dump, or builder procs + combo points + dump.

FF14 jobs may lack customization, but at least they are distinct classes.

I want cloth user Necromancer. Plate doesn’t count.

Theres too many leather, not enough mail.

I could see a draconic class playing like FFXIV’s Red Mage.

Personally, Necromancers. They have more flexibility for multiple races. Tinkerers feel like they’ll not fit majority of Races, mostly to Goblins, Gnomes, Mechagnomes, and maybe Dwarves…? While sure, there could be MORE but how often are you as great as Gelbin Mekkatorque, a gnome with such brains capable of engineering something that makes it into a class? I don’t see humans, night elves, orcs, or even trolls using this.

on the other hand, it is plausible for Tinkerers because they can most definitely be the next Mail class users. to that degree, I can say the same for Necromancers IF they follow the Diablo route. Having specialization that focuses being more melee focused. Maybe even allow shields? Its hard to speculate more on either viable next classes but right now, Necromancer is the MOST fitting for this expansion and even the next (Assuming once the Zovaal issue is dealt with) and realizing that death magic is another force and not a evil.

I really like monk’s positional abilities forcing constant repositioning to max combat potency per global, personally.

Idk. My assassination rogue feels a lot like my fury warrior now and my feral druid feels a lot like how my assassination rogue used to feel and I hate it. I hate it so much.

I’m doneskis. I’m just playing the forums till my play time expires while waiting in queue in other games.
