first cloth healer hero class
can be 2 specs or 3
here examples of specs
-
dps spec that summon armies of undead nonstop like necromancer in diablo with spells that also shoot ghosts and soul magic
-
tank spec can summon a huge skeleton abomination or a flesh golem the golem is the true tank here and the mechanics spells you use buff up defenses and leech your own health and the health of your party or raid into blood to heal the golem, also you would be able to merge with the golem as a golem suit of sorts this would be the pvp tactic as of course in pvp someone would just target the player and not the golem so they have to have some sorta counter like that
-
healer spec the healer would be the 2nd healer class to gain healing thru dmg you would have spells that funnel health and leech and drain health from enemies and funnel it to you and your allies, buff your allies with bone armor as well
-
dps spec advanced ice spec, as warlock have destro which is a more advanced fire than fire mages, necromancers frost would be a more brutal version of frost mages frost, ice spikes from the ground snow storms that decrease visibility of enemies when inside, ice walls, ice shard cyclones that go thru as a tornardo of ice shards, freeze the floor aoe which has a chance to knockdown ppl walking on it, when you are a necromancer maybe somewhat partially undeath yourself you can withstand way more extremely cold temps than a simple frost mage can

No, no more hero classes, hero classes were a mistake.
Make it a greenfire esq quest for warlocks
Imp → skeletal mage
Succ → Banchee
Void - > Skeletal warrior
Felguard → undead vykrul
Fel hunter - > undead hound or spider
Infernal - > abomination
DoomGuard - > litch.

No more classes. We have more than enough that Blizzard can’t balance.

Do we really need two people with undead things

I’m not sure if Blizzard is creative enough to make a necromancer without removing abilities from other classes to make it unique.
If this were vanilla I’d say yes go all in but now…
Either a glyph to change a warlocks abilities or a fourth talent tree for necromancy.

Weird take but ok.
Never said new classes are bad, new hero classes are a bad idea. Blizzard struggles to balance what they have. I would rather them fix the balance they have before throwing another wrench into the operation.
They exist…its called unholy DK. They put diseases on enemies that spread, they summon undead, they fit all the criterias of a necromancer. No, a necromancer does NOT need to wear black robes and look skinny and creepy to be a necromancer, thats typical D&D stuff.

Honestly, they aught to just allow Warlocks to convert all of their demons into undead minions.
Problem solved.
Each demon that you summon would get an undead minion analog. Easy peasy.
No more hero classes. After seeing how Blizzard has been treating DKs since MoP.

Tinker class please! Between warlocks, shadow priests, and death knights there is no need for Necromancers in WoW.

nope, look again in the dk staring scenario theres dk and there necromancer they are different necromancers are pure casters not warriors and dk are fully melle not spell casters
tinkers exist in engineering and hunters
Adding Demon Hunters was hard enough on Warlocks as it is without a new class that borrows from them. If anything, make a Necromancer Priest or Warlock spec.
I probably wouldn’t do it like this but yes I agree no more classes. They need to start properly balancing the specs we have and adding many more glyphs to customize existing specs more.
However I wouldn’t be opposed to them adding new specs for example a healer DK spec dealing with necromancy and life magic. A tank shaman spec that uses earth. A Holy ranged dps priest spec. A dragon aspect druid healer spec. Dark ranger hunter or rouge spec. Etc etc.
Given the nature of the expansion, if we have not gotten Necros I doubt we will. Blizzard’s reworking of DK’s is also a good sign Necromancers will not be a thing any time in the near future if at all. It is not the same as saying no High Elves then making Void Elves have the ability to customize their appearance to look almost the part.

I love all of these spec ideas and I think they could fill niches that aren’t properly filled yet. I really wished DK got some kind of healer spec like what you’re describing and I wish blood was more like the tank spec you’re describing (instead they just heal through minions or something).
The only one I dont think would be a good idea is the dps ice spec, because while i get where you’re coming from with mage fire vs warlock fire I think that’s already been done with the DK frost spec.
no those are hunters with engineering hardly anything like a tinker class

Especially when most engineering items are unusable after a certain level and are disabled in instances
