Until I get Drow skin and eyes like Sylvanas I will remain disappointed with the new “options”.
exactly.
pretty much this whole argument is over now
???
Yeah but no one was talking about orcs?
Velen is 50k Y/o and he wasn’t even the first leader of the Eredar.
But you have no eyes…
Yeah they’re all bad the same way dhs and dks are lol. Or warlocks. Warlocks are LITERALLY bad guys. The term warlock means OATHBREAKER because they betrayed the rules of the mage or in the case of orcs shaman society. Blizzard doesn’t really vibe with the “all of x is evil” or “all of y is good” which is why we got an evil naaru and dks became playable even though they have only ever been evil before that.
Ok a red glow in my eye sockets.
except that necromancers can do what unholy dks can do, but better…
the scourge calls up necromancers to do that job for a reason after all, you never saw a death knight doing a necromancer job, because his function is to bring death, while the necromancer take care of the plague and summoning large numbers of undeads as well more powerfull undead beings…
the dk is a weaponized version of the necromancer, the necromancer is more like the profession within the scourge
I could stab you if you want. Will look really red.
Unholy DK’s are necromancers, but they do not have to be the necromancer.
With some tweaks, both could exist simultaneously.
I have green blood. =(
Disgusting.
Azeroth is considered one of the youngest planet. So more then likely Draenei were already into Crysto-Engineering by the time Trolls begin building their first pyramid.
It’s difficult to go back that far since Metzen doesn’t provide anything anymore about due the fact that he moved and no longer works for Blizzard.
The only person who could provide more information is Alex Afrasiabi.
Of course the above is pure theory craft, but besides what happens in Legion, it was clear Draenei were already established and had technology when they were visited by Sargeras.
The literal definition isn’t the same as the fantasy. So no that doesn’t work. No one in the WoW universe would call a death knight a necromancer. Maybe a warrior that uses necromancy. But that’s like saying using a skateboard makes you pro skater.
So is your hat but you don’t see me saying anything…
Necromancers and Monks were intended for original release of the game but they couldn’t figure out how they wanted to go about them so they scrapped the idea. Necromancers were too akin to warlocks they felt, and Death Knights later were where they took that class. Then monk became what is now when it was originally supposed to be like a melee priest but they scrapped it and just made the discipline tree as an interim and rolled some of the ideas into priest itself but the original discipline spec never took off. This is why Discipline was always damage preventative focused because you were supposed to actively mitigate your own damage instead of just having a shield or high dodge. This is also why Inner Fire granted armor.
lmao the argument is over, unholy is a necromancer proven fact because they use necromancy. Just because its called something else doesnt mean its not a necromancer. and its not DK’s in general is only unholy because they specialize in necromancy. A definition is a definition. A fact.
Except Necromancers do exist in lore and lore wise death knights =/= necromancers. The ebon blade has some clothie necromancers helping them out. So even the DKS don’t consider themselves the same thing.
Blizzard’s ideas of tweaks;
Unholy Death Knight
- Army of the Dead: Removed, Necromancers are the ones with Army of the Dead now. : )
- Apocolypse: Removed, Necromancers are the ones with Apocolypse now. : )
Nah, they’ll gut demonology warlocks and make necros the horde-flinging class.
Lets face it, if they steal from anyone, it is always Warlocks.
Not how wow lore works. There are friendly necromancer npcs already.
