Necrolord the demo covenant?

Great wise words, brother of the Black Harvest.

That’s an interesting way to put. However, I personally think that NL can be powerful in certain situations as well as Plague Deviser Capstone Trait is perhaps the most fun and most powerful trait that NL covenant has ever had in awhile since Marileth is mostly a defensive soulbind much like Dreamweaver.

I’ve heard good things about Dreamweaver as well as its capstone trait really made the Soulbind very competitive compared to Niya and Korayn if not the most competitive of the three thanks to the buffs to Blossom and its capstone trait. It’s not as fun as Marileth but I bet the soulbind is solid nevertheless that I’ll experience more on my NB Warlock.

I have my own share of fun with Dreamweaver as Unholy which is about to get even more bonkers.

I do like Marileths new trait. Kevins Oozeling single handidly pushed his sims for Demo way above Emeni and Heirmr for me. It’s great, especially since single target is my jam for most fights.

I’ll also note I’ve noticed some interesting utility with Ultimate Form. Marileth hasn’t really been a good soulbind until now so I hadn’t noticed but… it really helps out with certain mechanics. Like on Nerzhul it negates the knockbacks and even the silence from swirlies, and while I’ve not had the chance to test it out I can only assume it works on the Abductor chain on Eye, letting you solo it so others can keep DPSing.

Sure, it’s only like 5 seconds assuming you finish the channel, but along with the 30% DR, the self healing, and the large shield, it makes me wonder what potential it has in cheesing other mechanics.

Though yeah in general NF is best for warlocks, and Soulshape is very obviously useful
