I’m surprised you don’t see more necro WLS, the banner gives the lock about 50% mastery and if that’s done with triple dots + dark soul + rapid contagion thats an insane amount of damage

I have played this comp around 2400 mmr-ish and I believe Revo has played it around 3.1k rating this season so he might have better input. But for me at least, the comp is alright but not great, warr can play with literally any other melee or a shadowpriest and have a much easier time, same goes for the lock.
The lock and shaman have to have some pretty good synergy and you are punished way harder for overlapping defensives than you would be running other easier stuff. Shaman can struggle to keep lock up at times from just raw consistent damage from something like Jungle.
The other warrior and lock comps are just better, as you have said. Play WLS if you want to give yourself a challenge.
I’m currently playing around 2400-2500mmr and it feels okay some comps feel borderline unwinnable though like dh/spriest/rsham feels impossible but it might just be because we’re bad. RMP and dh/boomie feel incredibly hard as well
From my experience it just seems like if a comp has very good mobility/sustained damage/easy ways to stop triple UA or Deathbolt it feels like an uphill battle
The win condition for wls generally has been ooming the opposing healer or just straight killing everyone with insane pressure. However you just can’t do that as wls because the lock will always take more mana to keep up then most other things even though they can sit at 2-3k hps all game.
Increases damage done by Malefic Rapture, Agony, Corruption, Unstable Affliction, and Seed of Corruption by x%.
It actually scales better than haste. Deathbolt scales up with vers/mastery/haste because all of those increase damage of the dot done over its duration by either giving you more ticks or simply making the dot tick harder.
I exclude crit because bolt is unable to crit anymore. I wonder if the new version will be able to crit…
I’m pretty sure necro banner gives aff around 20-25% more damage.
