Necessary resistance gear?

By all accounts, I’ve had no problems with our healers thus far. When I died on a boss, I stopped paying attention to what I was doing and let the boss crush me. Rarely do they just scrub out on me. Lol

Either way, I want to make it as easy as possible for them. We have an abundance of hunters, so lots of misdirects can be used.

I’ve never heard of anything besides a Warlock tanking Leo.

No particular reason a warrior can’t do it.

Wouldnt a warlock still be better because of threat? I remember tanking it back in the day and nothing could pull threat off me with searing pain spam.

Better? Maybe.

I was just saying a warrior can do it fine and kill the boss.

I wonder if you can get a ton of threat from spell reflect.

I can confirm that whenever a spell is reflected you do get the threat. I can also confirm that the skill itself is practically useless in most raid situations. Granted, I only tried it in Gruul’s (mage tank died, it didn’t work) and Karazhan (works for exactly two pulls - imps and warlocks on the way to Illhoof). You can’t spell reflect Spell Shade casts, Sorcerous Shade volleys, Aran’s spells, Prince Malchezaar’s Enfeeble…

On second thought, that last one might be a bit much.

Fear not there’s a fight in Black Temple designed around spell reflect.

The day is mine!

Don’t know if you have a druid tank, but if you do they’ll likely want to be the frost tank. We can use the polar crafted pieces from classic along with the FrR ring and neck and end up with a decent set. Our nature resist options are not nearly as good as what plate wearers can get.

We do have a druid tank! And this is exactly what we’ve elected to do! I’m a JC so I’ll be crafting his jewelry.
