Today I received my two Voidcores as well as an additional from Fault. I had two items remaining in my Maisara Caverns loot pool and after receiving one from a roll, the following two rolls returned duplicate items to me as opposed to what should have been the last remaining item from the loot pool.

Same thing happened to me today. Voidcore gave me duplicate set of boots that I got with voidcore last week while there are still items in the knockout list that I haven’t gotten.
Same thing happened to me. Had 1 item remaining that I hadn’t gotten and it gave me a duplicate. What’s even worse is that it is now showing all the items are in the loot pool again, as if it has completely reset. Was also a caverns key.
Same thing Happened to me in NPX last night. I opened a ticket and Blizzard replied with an auto response that did not even relate to this…
For reference, were all of you using the same loot spec for each of these rolls? Or were you changing them up to improve your odds after receiving 1-2 pieces?
There is a caveat with the system that isn’t spelled out very clearly but could result in this behavior. It boils down to this: If you exhaust the loot table for your current loot spec, the table for all of your loot specs is reset. What does this mean? I’ll provide an example.
I used bonus rolls in Seat a total of nine times. The first two rolls were done as Protection loot spec, but after I received a tank item from the loot table, my odds of receiving the piece I want were better if I ran Arms or Fury for the remainder of my attempts. It got down to the point where I only had the plate gloves and plate belt available for those loot specs. I finally was able to bonus roll the gloves, leaving only the plate belt available for Arms/Fury.
If I were to then bonus roll one more time to get that belt with either of those loot specs, the tables for all specs would have reset which includes Protection even though there are two other drops specific to Protection on the loot table which I hadn’t received. Thus, if I wanted a shot at the other loot for that spec, I’d have to loot spec Protection for the remainder of my bonus rolls in the dungeon in order to have access to the complete table.
So, if a drop you’re looking for happens to be for a specific loot spec only but you exhaust the options for another of your loot specs accidentally, it can and will result in seeing duplicates. I’m not saying this is what happened to all of you or even any of you, but it’s knowledge worth having regardless.
It happened to me aswell, I bonus rolled for the 7th time with my outlaw rouge, and that lead me to leather belt (myth track), but I got it about 2 or 3 weeks ago. Now I got a duplicate, the support system isnt working, I opened up a ticket and it was marked as resolved without any sort support. what do you think I should do?
Same thing last night, canned response and mark ticket as “resolved”. Talk about lousy customer service. Maisara Caverns for me too.
