I think I’m more picky about the face shape and features. It’s tough for female characters in wow when it comes to the majority of races… they give us like one nice face. It’s like night elf men, they have one that doesn’t look like he’s smelling something awful.
Speaking of customization… Why is it that Dracthyr females have hair styles that don’t exist for human females? They literally use the same base model.
KT should have absolutely been BT expansions for the base Human model, rather than called an entirely different race.
I totally concur.
This is fair.
WoW could use more “Base Race” and the “Origin” you pick would determine racials/heritage.
Like change Void Elf to Elf or something.
Then you pick what you look like and your “Origin”.
If you’re Ren’dorei then you get the Void Elf background, racials, faction, and heritage.
Pick Quel’dorei and you’re a High Elf background, racials, faction, and heritage.
Then have the game acknowledge this.
I believe the reason why is that the larger Kul’tiran folk are part of the commoners and the military forces… work people in other words, their physique is a result of hard work and overconsumption of alcohol. Meanwhile the Nobles like the Waycrests and Proudmoores don’t tend to live like the common folk and thus sort of stay the way you see them. Ashvane is an oddity to say the least.
Youd have to give humans the Kul Tiran model, too.
Also, youd have to have swappable models between Trolls, as well.
I love the comments about “strongmen” and how that makes it all okay. But when you actually look up strongmen and see why the ones people are talking about have large bellies… Well, it turns out it’s generally one of two things (or both together): Overeating (they are literally fat), or the use of HGH (Human growth hormone) which has the side effect of causing a distended belly, due to the intestines growing larger.
I would much prefer a smaller belly. It doesn’t have to be a 6-pack, or even give them a v-shaped body. But the belly is large enough to call them overweight.
They are obviously chunky lol I think it’s totally fine to just say that and accept it as okay too.
Re: 2 models: The tech they mentioned about having AI do the rigging for gear to models opens up a ton of possibilities. We could see something like this in the future.
On the undead: I feel like this one would just be skinning on existing races models. There might be a bit of tech to resolve as far as changing it, but it could be done with their nifty new barbershop interface. Then just keep the undead racials.
I want the future to arrive now
I’m all for more customization.
This is why I’ve always advocated for Kul Tiran distinction to be the ‘magically enhanced’ branch of humanity, not simply the ‘freaking swole’ branch. Their background, and the stories of them hunting down witches and the like secures that for them as well.
It’d help if they had more than five faces, also. They’ve been around for half a decade at this point.
Well, that’s because those using “Strongman” example don’t have any idea what they’re talking about.
HGH, getting on the gear cycle, and the such is VERY popular in weight lifting.
Strongmen aren’t only on that but they are eating constantly. Especially right before tournaments where they bulk up a great deal.
I watch the strongest men in the world and their videos have them constantly eating and monitoring their macros. They spend nearly the entire day eating or working out while guzzling protein shakes.
Their physique isn’t “normal” at all. They are extremely heavy and well above the average weight. As they need to be at that level to achieve what they want.
They eat more in a day then I eat in a month. It’s insane how much they can force their body to eat.
It’s a very expensive and time consuming lifestyle. Especially if they don’t have their own cook.
That’s not 100% true b/c of how gens and body types work.
You can be bigger, lift weights and still have belly because you work out your arms. People do exercises that target body fat.
This is a very weird mindset you have that is starting to off off fatphobic more then anything
That’s exactly what it is. He doesn’t even try to hide it. Just look at his post history every time Kul’tirans are mentioned.
He can’t seem to wrap his head around (and is probably grossed out by the fact) that some like the Kul’tiran model and are happy with it. Most only ask for more face, hair, etc options.
He also mentioned he looks like a void/blood elf so he is legit a skinny twink who hates other body types.
I legit know a girl who can eat 4/5k cal’s a day and not gain a pound b/c of her body type. We don’t control that all the way.
Strongmen bulk eat b/c muscles NEED fuel to work.
Bodybuilding doesn’t reflect that as much b/c they go though a lot of effort to make their muscles look good while being slim, so much so they stop drinking water and dehydrate themselves to make the muscles look better even if they feel sick while taking the photos.
Strongmen can’t DO that, they have to be healthy and push the limits of human strength which means being big, having big muscles and having some fat too.
But the problem between pandas is the same as other only humanoid races, it could be understood in physical appearance that they do not have as much variety as humans.
But Humans is a real problem in the lack of customization seen in geek culture and the change seen with age.
That would also affect customization in creating older or younger characters to our liking, something to give versatility in the lore of our characters, especially that it really plays like an RPG and not like a casual gatcha videogame that Asia always uses with her 56 one screen bots.
That is why Blizzard, apart from acquiring skin color as it did in Shadowlands but FOR OTHER REASONS and not because of the quality of the video game, should give more variety in characters with age characteristics and details such as weight, physique and state without affecting anything the problem of stats like other games do like one that if you manage to create weird things your character as a king will last a short time in the end getting a permadeath IDK what game it was, but that realism is not for those who have created your character in Street Fighter 6.
fat is not same that obese, but that is robust, and athletic just in case, which is what I mean in the variety of character customization not just because they are from Stormwind or Kul’tiras, they want an example because Jaina is a KT but she is a sexy girl Although I hate her since MoP.
But realize, as you see pandas lately, they are not fat or obese, it is just a physical body as they grow, that is something else, something that takes some realism to a race that for its female pandas in a bikini, there are too many sexy
There is no problem with that, but Blizzard really needs more customization in human races, and believe me, it needs a lot.
Are you the one who flagged the thread? Even though I didn’t do it, I tell you that you are wrong because of your blind toxic attitude, quite the contrary, this thread should be used for the sake of a more variable customization option between human races, more than other WoW races that also need more customization option.
second problem, forsake are undead, but between human or elf undead, something that the scourge not only affected those races, but also expanded throughout the old kingdoms of Azeroth in the third war.
Which is where the biggest problem with customization would come, they are undeads, but there is only one race of undead, which the undead would expand the forsaken to see many versions of undead of any race from what they were in the third war, to the new ones like Draneis, Vulperas, and Drackthyrs (no joke) as it was when seen with the DK’s, something that the forsaken would reach even beyond human customization, something that Blizzard would have a great job to do.
Apart from that he does not give the option of long beards for the Forsaken for Warlocks with the appearance of WC3 Necromancers.
Not stupid, It is not to boost your woke campaign manifesto, the problem here is customization, and just flagging this thread and each post that speaks correctly only harms a good option to give WoW more customizations, especially to the human races that you need the most.
But the elfs are perfect races in appearance, IDK we need to fatten elf customizacion in this state for other reasons that I won’t mention, but rather they are immune to physical states that would make them look like the 4 soldiers in Metal Slug.
hehehe… I just move the mouse to his face, and it will tell me in the lower right that he is a stupid human.
yeah… separating 2 races as if they were aliens Blizzard, what’s wrong with your agenda? at once put Kultiran and the other stormwinds, there are only 2 humans.
But the problem is that 2 humans are different, but not in color, but in stomach, ridiculous, instead of both having any variety of customization.
Only you are a pity gnome and DIE… Your screams and your 1000 way to die make me laugh, they just make me laugh.
No, I am not interested in your pathetic existence, what is requested is that there be more customization in human races, thank you…
no… Having thought well, first near your PC, stomp your feet and say: THIS IS THE REALITY.
and second, you should rather give more customization to this fantasy game, did you know… Humans races need more customization.
I would call it the Shaggy version without ultra instinct in WoW, but yes… Blizzard should give more customization in human races.
that’s Blizzard hipocrecy.
i said in elfs races, That is a minimal problem, unless it is a special customization such as eye size, size, and appearance, it would only affect that and not the stomach size.
Then like fantasies, the elf is elves except in Harry Potter, geez how disappointing to be an elf in that world.
That is why it would give more appearance to characters not only fat (because obese is something else, do not compare that it is the same) or thin, but also to strong characters, whether women or men, which Blizzard would bring that option.
Imagine that female abdomen, it’s like Samus Aran in Super Metroid with that black bikini, wow… how square , that’s why I hate cosplayers and NINTENDO for valuing the zero suit more.
