Hello.
Just letting you know that Nazmir map is lagging badly for 3 days now for every player in the zone. It’s just that place. Other areas are fine.
I was just in there on my paladin for a good chunk of the morning and didn’t experience any lag. Don’t recall any the other day when I was doing the emissary, either.
I’d recommend everyone posting in the Tech Support forum with some information they request, like a trace route.

I’m doing daily wqs for 3 days now. It’s so bad. Every time I zone in. Every person in chat is complaining. If any gm wants to check I’m online now doing daily clear.

There are no GMs on the forums, I’m afraid.
Everyone experiencing lag will still want to post in Tech Support so Blizzard can collate some information and find out if it’s something they can do anything about.

Hey Kjell,
I checked Nazmir while logged into Blood Furnace and I do see the lag / delays that you’re talking about. I went ahead and sent a report up to our WoW server team so they can collect that data.
I’m afraid we are not able to issue server restarts from CS or the forums here, but that is what would likely clear things up. It is probably something that would need to be addressed during the next Tuesday maintenance / restarts.

A forum post is not a ticket. There are no GMs on the forum.
You need to post in Technical Support, not Customer Support.
It might be helpful if you run an MRT report while the lag is happening. Directions for that are linked in the stickies in the Technical Support forum.

Hello all, the lag in Nazmir is currently horrible. Trying to do the Tortollan quest is nearly impossible. It’s not just me, numerous other players are reporting the same thing.
Reporting same thing from Lightning’s Blade. Same issue was occuring yesterday. Every other zone is fine.
Can confirm, the problem is still ongoing.
This patch has been riddled with bugs. Can we expect the same problems in shadowlands since everything is just rushed out the door?

Lag continues this morning, which is bad news with the emissary being Nazmir. So thats fun. I would love to know why its only the one zone.
Just tried again today, same garbage latency. Come on Blizzard, please.

Org is REALLY laggy right now as well.
Had to give up on completing the current assault in Nazmir. Last step repeatedly took me back to the ship. What a waste of time well after all the lag throughout.
It’s the same for me on Burning Blade. Checked characters who had and hadn’t finished the main quests, in case it was an issue there. Both lag.
This still applies. The information would be useful to track down where the issue is happening.

We already do have some old threads on this, and this is just a resurgence of the same issue we were looking at in earlier threads.

It’d be best to add your reports to these threads just so they’re all going to the same place, but since this is a bug there’s not a lot else we can suggest in customer support than to swap shards. To do this, you would toggle war mode either on or off (whichever you are not actively playing in.) This forces you into a different shard, which may have better performance than the one you were on previously.
