Because you can set up each client window with it’s own key bindings and macros.
They’re bots. Anyone with half a brain can tell the difference between a bot and multiboxer.
I don’t think anyone here is suggesting that none of those groups of characters are bots. But you can’t punish all multiboxxers for the behavior of a few
Again not every situation is the same, to claim so is disingenuous to your arguement.
If nobody wants them then why do I sell tens of thousands per day? It’s almost like raiders need potions.
Mining seems to be better, the herb situation is still similar to toilet paper in real life though.
Aurelisa, you realize blizzard doesn’t set the auction house prices of flasks and potions, players do.
Florentinus you have to set up macros and key bindings so that you can control several characters at once. Its very easy to control 2 of the same class. Its sort of easy to do mixed dps.
But you can, with enough patience setup keymaps and macros so that you can control the tank and 4 dps with keybinds, and use click style healing addons for the healer, or keybinds for the healer, or some combination. Its quite challenging.
I was referring to the cost of making them.
Still stripped of herbs.
Sounds awful having to rank up zin, which even if you do, it will be impossible to farm.
I’m thinking maybe alchemy was a horrible choice… then again what else is there besides enchanting?
I have had a few nodes despawn as I was mining them. Are they still botting under the ground? Because I don’t see bots on my server. Feel for those who do though, I absolutely hated it when someone could swoop down while you’re fighting and gank the node. Multiboxers doing it guarantees node exhaustion pretty much, not sure what to do about it (too much would crash prices).
On my server I’m finding plenty of osmenite. I don’t think it’s hardly the problem on my server that people have been discussing. I don’t think I’ve seen a multiboxer on this server since maybe cata. With flying so niche I am beyond happy that nodes don’t immediately despawn so when someone flies in while I’m fighting, I will still get the node anyway. The majority of the time.
Multiboxing, at least in the way where it’s actually effective, is impossible without the same kind of mouse event hax that were in the original fishing buddy, which was and still is a bannable offense. I don’t know how that can be justified by the development team without a great deal of hypocrisy.
If BOTTING (fully automated, absolutely NO ONE controlling any of them at all in any way shape or form), then report. You usually won’t see too many hard core botters, because they farm nodes from under the ground using terrain hacks.
If BOXING (one being controlled by a person and a train of followers), then it is, and always has been, and likely always will be, perfectly fine by Blizzard rules. They have stated as much on MANY occasions. Reporting them is waste of time for GMs, and the ones reporting them should be penalized.
seems to me the people defending Multiboxing and saying they are not bots and that its fine and doesnt cause a problem are the ones causing the strife here…Nazj isnt that big of a zone and has limited resources people need to play and enjoy the game…all you multiboxxers are doing is making it un-enjoyable for the rest of us…thanks for that…probably the same people hoarding 144 rolls of toilet paper.
This 1000%!
