Nazjatar impressions

There are many things wrong at Blizzard at the moment but the art direction and modelling teams are not one of them.

Thank you Blizzard for this zone, it is a work of art. Lovecraft himself would be proud. Can’t wait to see what’s around the next corner.

Despite how beautiful the zone is, I’ve actually enjoyed myself quite a bit this patch. It’s going better than I expected.

I’m going to have to get some bardings because I got pulled off my mount to my death by naga death squads a half dozen times.

Check back in about a month and let us know how you feel. The first several hours are always going to be enjoyable.

It’s after you’ve completed it on your 4th+ toon when it becomes relevant as to the enjoyment level of content for WoW … to me anyways. Good thing I speak only for myself though! :+1:

The zone isn’t that great, for some reason these map makers seem content on making these zones annoying to navigate.

Good thing we get to fly in the new zones, huh?

I know, but still I’m enjoying it right now. I’m very excited to try out operation Mechagon.

I’m happy for you. I enjoyed the first hour or so I was able to dabble in it before work too, but I choose to remain neutral until I’ve been forced to slog through it for the umpeenth time. I wasn’t aiming to be a downer.

Im with ya man, im in awe of the artwork and cant believe how many hate posts are out there already. Is it perfect? No but going in the right direction if you check out the latest interview with Ion.

I think its just impossible to make people happy these days.

Anything is going to become stale after you grind through it 20 times. But that’s a game design issue, not an artistic one.

And my response was not directed toward the art, it was toward the individual giving kudos to Blizz for their experience (thus far) into the patch.

I had nothing to contribute regarding your comment toward the art of the patch, as I’ve barely scratched the surface of what it contains and therefore don’t have a valid opinion on it. I’m about to delve into it as I just got off work; however, the fact stands regarding what it is I said … which you basically repeated in different words.

1 important thing missing from the modelling team.
Very very few, virtually no, nice looking weapons can be found in 8.x yet.

It’s beautiful.

My only complaint atm is:

Welcome to Nazjatar! Here’s 77 quests, even though quest log still only holds 25!

Seriously, why are there SOOOOOOO MANYYYY quests???

I don’t dislike it, but it’s just a bunch of dailies. That kind of turned me off of it a little.

Agreed, I prefer WQs.

Naz is annoying because it’s so difficult to get around. Mech isn’t anything like as difficult. And oh, I unlocked my flight whistle in no time in Mech. Naz? Not even close. I ended up hearthing to Zandalar and just porting back to Naz instead of trying to navigate back to the quest turnin places. Ugh.

I like Nazjatar. I lobe Mechagon even more

Not really impressed with it. Logged in after a month+ of not touching the game and just really haven’t encountered anything that’s drawn my attention back. Gonna help my guild clear Heroic Daz one more time to tonight and just log again until raid opens. Try that. Don’t like it then bounce until next xpac.

Legion 2.0 Feels very much the same sadly

As I understand it, that is now mount equipment, no more barding. Forgive me if I am wrong. And in Nazjatar, I recommend the ability to not be dismounted over water walking.

Semper Fi! :us:
