Nazjatar feels so empty and lifeless

I think this is the single biggest factor in all of this. Blizzard come on, CHILI FRIES.

Preferably earned by a quest too make them, like finding the best potatoes, cutting the skin, dicing them and even prepping the chili by killing random animals!

Blizzard, hire this man. Think of the human potential!

This.
EMFH was the only reason people went alliance for pvp.
Literally.
After it got nerfed, Horde suddenly was the masterfaction within a few months.

It’s not an overreaction. Generally speaking, the first few days of any patch in this game are it’s busiest times. If places are looking empty, it’s rather disconcerting. Now it could very well be a sharding issue but part of me finds that hard to believe. It’s pretty obvious the faction imbalance grows and grows as time goes on so seeing one side kind of barren within a couple days of a new patch isn’t good.

Yea, the PvP events seem extremely one sided across many shards. The only time I saw Alliance in a big group these past 2 days was the all day Alliance camping of the Highmountain portion of the quests.

At least in my shards, Alliance were not doing the World Events. However, Alliance groups going around to get kills were fairly common outside of events.

Whatever everyone else’s experience has been, something about sharding needs to be done as many times it just feels empty or one sided.

My only suggestion for the world events is to make them static in the world and points of interest either side would want. Say for example Nazjatar has 5 nodes (as in the PvP event) but each individual gives you 2% damage for holding it, and having that 2% was reliant on just capturing a node and holding it like in BC with Zangermarsh or Terrokar Forest.

Might not fix PvP, but might at least have a little more back and forth.

oh what about before they nerfed it when many years horde was still the better faction at pvp now ur just making stuff up like alot of people do

That’s why all of the r1’s were alliance, right?
stay trollin’, mate.

Sharding sucks. I always see tons of the other faction when I’m out in the world. When I’m on my horde all I see is alliance and vice versa. It really sucks. :slightly_frowning_face:

what about in mop and cata when horde dominated pvp and emfh was a thing what about then ?

No one cares about BGs, sorry.

Yeah sharding is something that needs to be removed from the game completely in my opinion.

If they want the realms to feel lively it seems like just merging a lot of them would do the job.

im talking about arenas and rbgs you didnt play back then or you dont know what ur talking about . emfh was a thing in both mop and cata and horde dominated arena and rbg then magicly in wod emfh was op with no changes and had to be nerfed it wasnt emfh it was dwarfs

wdym
almost every r1 was either on alliance KT, darkspear, tich, sarg, or a blood elf for their racial.
it was still predominately alliance, and that’s why people ran human

Well it could be. Ppl tend to come to the forums when there is a problem much much more than when there is not one therefore creating the picture that its a crisis and the sky is falling. Kind of how the news only focuses on bad stuff and u think the world is burning. But its not.
All im saying is give it some time and perhaps ur view is not the majority situation. It culd be that ur right or wrong but i thibk its too early to tell.

Had WM on for my gdruid for a bit, did a lot of the main quests and such long before the pvp event happened. Barely anyone, druid can handle all the rares by itself but I wanted to farm and turned it off and it was a whole new world. Mezza was packed so full I was having a hard time clicking vendors, constantly seeing people in the zone. Then to mechagon and it was full of life, so active and people constantly posting rares. The island was also full in WM, full of horde mowing people down. I may have just been stuck on a really bad shard though.

Yeah I do like how you can track the planes, some are just so hard to see when you’re on the other side of a mountain.
Though I don’t see them actually having a way to address WM on shards without doing what they did with timeless isle/legion with the hostile to all buffs. It wouldn’t really work with that event in particular. Serving Ordos was the most fun I ever had in game though, even if it was killing my own faction because it was so unbalanced. Maybe do the cross faction “enlistment” bonus when you switch sides for bgs, allowing you to fight for the enemy for the day or something.

This is the product of sharding, warmode, and blatantly ignoring massively imbalanced racials for damn near a decade. Most of those who enjoyed the type of WPVP systems that Blizzard has been trying to push during BFA quit the game a very long time ago or went Horde.

Never mind the fact that Blizzard hasn’t even done the bare minimum to get a lot of the former PvPers back (PVP VENDORS BLIZZARD PLEASE JESUS ****)

Well the answer surely isnt giving the alliance junker gnomes as an allied race.

what is the answer then because as i see it people will play what they want to play it doesnt matter if every one else doesnt like it as long as they do . we have to stay focus on what we want in the game so we can tell blizzard what we want . belive it or dont but they do listen just look at every thing they did for us in 8 . 2 .

it’s because the only zone where they attempt to create fun or innovate is the mechagon island.

nazjatar is awful. i hate being there and once i get that rep, cya.
