Nazjatar dailies' objectives are excessive

No, I’m not talking about the amount of daily quests, I’m talking about the outrageous number of each item you need to do to complete them. The numbers either need to be reduced, or the spawn rates of the items in the world need to be dramatically increased. I’ve been in Nazjatar now running around for an hour and a half now, and I only have 4 starfish… I’m not even halfway done. It wouldn’t be that bad if a quest like this happened once every now and then, but there is one like this every day. This should not be this time consuming (and I feel it is simply time-consuming just to be time-consuming), and the whole thing is leaving me a really sour taste towards the zone as a whole.

Zan’jir Terrace and the crab cave to the northeast of it.

doesnt matter when entire neighborhood and their friends and family are doing the same at same location. Its a terrible quest design and not even challenging

While I agree with you, it’s excessive, you have to be a little thoughtful about why they did that.

The only reason to farm the rep to be honest is flying. Sure you can get some essences and patterns; but the real prize is flying. If you don’t care about any of the patterns or essences, you can just easily skip those longer quests and take the long road to flying. Do the easier ones only and skip the 50 rep for the harder ones.

50 rep is only worth it if you want flying -as soon as possible-

if you can live without it for a few weeks while you slow grind it (emissary gives a bunch of rep) then I’d say that’s probably the best fix.

The only one that really annoys me is the rares one. I killed 5 rares before getting credit for my 3rd rare. Why do some rares not even count?

World Quest rares don’t count. The easiest rare to get credit for is the herbalism spawn one. It’s consistent.

Dude you only get 50 war resources and a pitiful amount of Rep. no one is forcing you to do the quest.

I had the pick, chum, and seed for the profession rares, and after an hour of rare hunting I only ever saw the mining one.

The majority of rares spawn on the east center of the map. There are maps and routes you can google. That’s what I did. Took me about 15 minutes to find three. I find it best to find where 8-12 of them spawn, and do a roundabout and wait. trying to cover too much of the map gives too much of a chance of just bad luck with how long the spawns are and you could just miss them over and over again.

I’m out here taking starfish and kickin’ carp. Wonder what the next seafood quest is going to be like. :face_vomiting:

I like it because the casuals will fade out and I will rise to the top!

I could care less about how long it takes to do dailies, it could take me 3+ hours and I’d get them done…if there were something to do in between finding those quest items. Rare spawns and events seem to be few and far between which means I’m usually just stuck running around.

In Mechagon I can find chests, grind out parts and what not. In Nazjatar there’s nothing. Or there could be something and I wouldn’t know because there’s literally nothing popping up.

I don’t mind it at all, just it’s confusing layout design I can’t figure out and spawn times are slow.

Make sure you’re in a group rather than a raid. I had one rare not count because the person who organized it made it into a raid.
