So there I was in dal, I see someone looking for literally ANY dps to fill a late night raid. I hadn’t been in many raids and I was in some blues and greens. I didn’t even know what hit cap was.
No inspection or anything and I was invited to normal 10m icc. We easily cleared it too.
I say that to say this:
You can optimize all day long but at the end of the day, anyone can do this content on its hardest difficulty easily.
So realistically top 100

Probably very late in the expansion and the rest of the 9 people were in heroic 25 gear. Sure you can get carried by 9 players. But that does not mean that if 10 of you went into ICC in leveling greens you’re going to clear it… You’re just not.
The point is that people didn’t seem to care as much back then.
Now? Everyone thinks they ought to be paid for playing with you if they’re geared
