if he is going off the old drops in 40 naxx then thats why

I don’t know if this really applies to the Ashbringer though since the lightbulbs got it 5 minutes into Legion.

If they’re doing the same thing as they did with ZG, it might not be all drops though. There are some drop that, as far as I can tell, weren’t brought back, like Zin’rokh or the Halberd of Smiting.

Yea. The last time I saw someone with it out in the wild was back in BfA during Legion mog farming runs. So they might be a a few accounts still active that have the OG mog. Certainly not enough to warrant paying any attention to. Let the majority have a crack at it.

btw i am normally against bringing back unobtainable/seasonal items, but Naxx 40 (if you were around back then) was not accessible by everyone…

it destroyed many guilds as well - so it’s a nice way to give back to players that absolutely would have progressed in there over time (had the game culture not shifted at that time).

So since only like maybe 100 or so players actually looted this item - it’ll be nice to see a refresh and see them pop up again.

I’m still all about rarity - because like i said - some of the items are so iconic, that they represent something deeper than gameplay (like ashbringer).

I also wonder which classes will be able to wield it?

People still with the delusion that having rare/unique pixels makes them special.

it does (within the virtual world). and yes - people care about that stuff. are you actually playing the game?

why do you think people are excited for this change? lol who’s delusional again? :grimacing:

I do. Been playing since 2007 But I’m not going to get bent out of shape for people wanting old items. I don’t need a video game to feel like I live on a pedestal

well that’s respectable, but i just don’t know how you can say these rare pixels aren’t special compared to the bloated ones…or how they don’t give you status in-game.

people still grind super hard to earn these for that reason alone

I have all the Phats on Runescape, doesn’t mean anything outside Runescape or really anyone that cares. Actually doesn’t mean anything at all. Only that I had the time and money. Same as everything on WoW.

I had the Blazing Hippogryph since its TGC release, I’m glad they gave it away on twitch.

yes i understand - we’re talking about within the realm of WoW…

i still think you’re special irl for that, but i get it :revolving_hearts:

Corrupted Ashbringer was something devs regretted to add in the loot table

That’s why they had something planned for it in outland cause that one dude in scarlet monastery was like “outland there’s a dude there that can recraft it”

But they all got scrapped because darion and tirion in wotlk

Hope you don’t lose sleep over something so miniscule like other people having the same pixels.

No by lore it’s now in a paladins bank

No one thinks outside the box

There’s a reason why blizzard is letting things fly like all race warlocks, old items returning

They did it for heroes of the storm all the cool skins that once was gone came back

Then months later they announced maintenance mode

Yay!

New stuff!

Why? Also I thought Ion said that wep in particular wasn’t coming back. If it did the only people that’d be upset are those who bought their account with few exceptions. :dracthyr_love_animated:

People just like to cherry pick. Unless I missed it, where was the outrage when Zulian Tiger, Flag of Ownership, Naxx Tier 3 sets ect were added to the BMAH? It’s just ridiculous.

Idk they did that like over a decade ago.

ZG tiger shouldn’t have even been removed. Nor should’ve t3. TCG on bmah was fine, though.

I know. But like I said: people just want to cherry pick.
