Nature resist for Healers on Viscidus?

What does everyone think? Do healers need NR for Viscidus?

I understand the logic behind having DPS wearing NR since damage doesn’t matter, just # of frost attacks, but I would lose copious amounts of +healing and mana in order to get the 150 Nature Resist my guild wants me to.

Everywhere I have been looking for AQ preparation says that I should plan on obtaining as many mana pots/runes as possible, but abstain from wearing any NR.

Obviously don’t need any for huhuran since we’ll be the last to soak.

Thoughts?

The best crafted/quest +Nature Resistance items, plus a Hunter with the healers for Aspect of the Wild should suffice.

If you are 10 healers you represent 25% of the raid damage taken but 100% of the healing done, it doesn’t seem to be worth it to wear NR unless its very very prime pieces

Would lose a ton of Mana too, so longevity is a concern I have. Obviously I have pots/runes for that, but if the fight goes long enough that might not be enough.

That’s what I’ve seen most people say, but was wondering if there’s another take on the situation I’m not seeing.

depends purely on how long the fight is gonna take.

If you’re 1-2 phasing it then i’d rock zero.
If you’re going to go longer then hit what the guild wants and stack mp5 for longevity.

Just look at warcraft logs you can see gear worn by best kill times, none of them wear NR.

Not a good way to assess the fight.

Strategy for Visicidus changes dramatically between the best guilds and lesser guilds. Top guilds likely have many engineers. Lesser guilds likely do not.

Just have your raid cleanse the poisons immediately.
