I’d say keep Cyrus. Cyrus is a father like figure after Bolvar (lets just say crossed over, we don’t know what’s going on with him, wdk if he’s a live or dead,) to Taelia and if he died, it would break Taelia’s heart. I don’t want her to be in that state
I really really hate Nathanos. He really does belittle you, as a Horde player, every time a quest is given.
I’m like “I’m a mf god, Nathanos. I’ve killed Gods/demons/kings and queens, saved the world from pretty much any annihilation.
WTF are you, you a$$hat for a henchmen/lapdog???”
Seriously. I am a god compared to Nathanos. He can eat my shoe. Covered in
Heck, you can kill both of them if it means I won’t have to see Nathanos ever again.
For the condescending manner with which he dared speak to the High Chief, Baine needs to lift Nathanos over his head, break him in half, and throw his corpse at the Lichqueen’s feet…just before we kill her too.
I would pay real money for that outcome…but I’m certain Blizzard hasn’t got the eggs for it.
I agree but I also have a feeling that when Sylvanas gets the Kerrigan package and flies off to save the universe that the Forsaken will need a new leader, and it will probably be Nathanos.
Plus that one writer seems to like him.
Each time someone puts Spineless Baine on a pedestal, Cairne’s ghost contorts in extreme pain… please, think of the true High Chief.
We have others that can lead the Forsaken not just him. I want him dead and deleted! XD
Oh I don’t doubt it but sadly I don’t think there will be a vote
They will totally write him in lol
And have Baine be anything but a yes-man to whoever is in power? Unthinkable!
I cringed whenever I was with him on my Horde toon through the BfA storyline. Ugh. Please fling yourself into space, Nathanos.
Oh, they’d end it. Only if Blizz took the cuffs off the Ally writers.
There are twice as many paladins as there are Forsaken. (source world of wargraphs). Add in the priests. That’s enough holy spells to wipe them all out. That is of course if the Forsaken weren’t somehow magically immune to spells that kill any other undead.
Coming from my Horde side (undead priest main): No. Nathanos is ruthless, and completely smitten with Sylvanas. Kill her off and he would be the best choice to rule the Forsaken; he would probably even give Genn a run for his money. I know I’m normally a Saurfang guy, but I might follow Nathanos if he could ever clear his head of the Mary Sue Queen.
You misunderstand me; it isn’t Baine I put on the pedestal, so much as the position of High Chief itself. That snide, self-important, boot-licking, glorified zombie has not right to speak to the leader of the Sho’halo in such a manner…even if the position is currently held by too soft-hearted an individual.
Baine is compassionate and kind…but he really does need to ‘bull-up’ as it were, when dealing with that corruptive pair of deaders.
Hamuul Runetotem is the Tauren racial leader. Because he actually leads and gets screentime.
Baine no longer exists as a character in the story.
Well, now that he’s got a girl friend, maybe she can help him find his spine. I don’t mind Baine’s softhearted nature, but maybe he can learn that sometimes he really does need to put his hoof down.
I’m hoping Mayla can inspire that in him.
He’s rude af. Like I know your Sylvanas’s Special Snowflake buddy but you need to chill. I’m not some lowbie loser…
A good ending for him, I think, would be:
-
Nathanos dies protecting Sylvanas from dying (again). She is no longer welcome in the Horde. Perhapes Forsaken stay, or go? (Npcs probably)
-
Lilian Voss perhaps could be the character to represent the remaining Forsaken in the Horde?
-
Saurfang takes over as Warchief. Zappi Boi (Who will probably be a pretty close/trusted ally after all the quests with them coming up), Baine and Talanji are the ones who give quests from then on.
The position means squat if he’s not behaving like a High Chief, and I say this based on how he always has put the interests of the Alliance before the interests not of the Horde, but his own people.
There’s compassionate… and there’s calling one of your own towns getting razed a legitimate target while decrying another similar situation on the opposite side.
And there’s compassionate… and then there asking for negotiations from the princess whose father was killed by the enemy.
He is kind alright… so kind he lets the Alliance walk all over him.
I like nathanos, but can see why he would make no sense from the perspective of anyone that doesn’t play as forsaken. It’s strange hearing him talk as if he acts on behalf of the horde, which seems like pure platitude.
Just like Greymane. I’m not really sure why either one is there. At least Nathanos follows orders. Greymane is a rapid dog at the end of his leash.
Does he have different dialogue for the Forsaken? I always slap him across the face on my Nightborne. She’s not a night elf so she could actually kick his butt.
I wanna see just how strong Nathanos really is tbh.
Every character has incredible power
