Well said, lets go back on topic this is what he wants
I’ll take that deal.
Lmao. Absolute fire. Mans came in here to do nothing but insult me and fish for them Discord Clique likes, then disappears without explaining himself when I actually give a reply. He didn’t contribute one word to the actual topic at hand. In fact, he immediately set off to derail it, which he is doing now. So, onward.
True but still, even if he was manipulated by pure devotion or love, it doesn’t excuse his actions in life (well, undead life). How’s that scene in Kingdom of Heaven go?
“But remember even when those who move you may be Kings, or men of power, your soul is in your keeping alone. When you stand before God you can not say “I was told by others to do thus, or that virtue was not convenient at the time”. This will not suffice.”
(Though honestly this quote leads the main protagonist to commit a horrible blunder by refusing King Baldwins proposition later in the film)
I mean, I wouldn’t have a problem with him turning on her in the Maw or w/e… but I just don’t see it in his nature shown to us up til now.
BtS suggested that she had genuine feelings for him, to the degree that she could still have positive feelings in undeath. But then, BtS also said she never wanted to be warchief, so draw your own conclusions.
That’s the dream.
I think they’re going to drive home the point that he’d dead for real by burning his corpse or something.
Nathanos became one of the most hated WoW characters of all time, and Blizzard clearly acknowledged this partway through BfA. Nathanos and Sylvanas are most likely going to die for good by the end of Shadowlands.
Indeed. That’s how it should be, at least in my mind. A trainer is in many ways a leader- one who leads by example and instruction. Of course class trainers lost much of their significance over time, but originally, you’d interact with them more frequently than other NPC’s and remember their names. I thought Dark Cleric Cecile (priest trainer) would be on the council (being in grommash hold for so long, and the forsaken emissary to Orgrimmar) or at least given some importance. Maybe she went with Sylvanas?
TBH I don’t hate the overall arc of Nathanos. He is a fitting metaphor for the Forsaken at large.
A husk of a person that didn’t enjoy his (un)life and who regretted the things that had been done to give him one. When he broke free of the Scourge, he latched onto what remained of what he loved from his old life: Sylvanas. He stuck with her through her victories and failures, only to be discarded at the end when he failed to fulfill her increasingly herculean demands.
His last and only reason for (un)living gone, he goes home and waits to die.
The message here being that the Forsaken should strive to build a life and find a sense of purpose that isn’t them just mindlessly clinging to the past, or they will find themselves as empty as he is.
I’m still calling that this isn’t his final death.
The only logical outcome would be that his soul goes right into the maw to Sylvanas, and I don’t understand the outrage about Tyrande getting the kill since I think she kind of deserved it after 8.1.
Problem with that is that if you remove the darkness from the forsaken you are left with deformed humans and we don’t want to play humans, that’s why we picked this race in the first place.
But their latest retcon of Forsaken society has been saying that they’re unable/forbidden to cling to the past, and Sylvanas is eeeeeeevil for making them build a new life disconnected from that.
Being edgy from time to time is the one thing that makes us different to the alliance. We need more of it not less.
Exactly this.
I mean half the Horde now is basically humans with pointy ears so…
who’s going to tell him
Okay, I will
You’re playing a human. A dead human.
So you post this on every thread you don’t find “enriching” correct?
Yeah, with your logic night elves are playing trolls, please try harder next time
One evolved over a long period of time dozens of thousands of years ago into a completely different race.
The other died a couple years ago and was raised as a corpse. It’s literally the same race except as a corpse. Just like forsaken Night Elves are still Night Elves, just dead.
Still the same, devs used said evolution to create a unique playable race just like they used the dead to the scourge to create another.
Not going to reply again to obvious troll (wow what a coincidence) so you’re welcome to have the last word.
If I see a thread from someone who’s not really looking for a discussion and is just looking to gloat, I’m gonna call it as such.
I’m a troll because I say Forsaken are human? Uhh… okay? Like yeah, they are different playable races, obviously, but they are literally physically the same race, except one side is dead and one side is alive.
I just found it funny you said ‘‘We don’t wanna play humans!!!’’ when you are posting on a dead human.
Then why are you playing a human
