i’m level 70. max legion fishing. got the achievement. got the pearl in the fountain. nat wont spawn for me on my highmountain tauren.

He will show up eventually, but it’s usually faster to log out and back in again to prod him to appear.
I have tried logging out, and relogging. i’ve logged into other characters. i’ve joined different groups to server hop. nothing has worked so far.

You turned the pearl in to the fishing trainer? (picking up the quest from Khadgar after trying to turn it in to him? I seem to remember missing that followup quest once)
Yes. chronologically - i hit max legion fishing. got the achievement. fished up the peral. talked to khad’gar. talked to marcia. the pearl is in the fountain. Now i’m waiting for Nat to appear and give me the quest for the underlight angler scenario.

( I haven’t done the quest since my dracthyr in the prepatch so it’s not impossible that something has broken since then … but that step has always been a bit finicky, so I’m still trying to think of some little positioning or phasing issue that might get in the way )

What I enjoyed about Nat showing up was to be fishing from the raft as Nat sinks through it and eventually downs. It takes some of the tedium of fishing away in a ghoulishly humorous way.
Have you completed “The Harbinger” 10.2.7 questline on your tauren? (it’s possible that quest twirks Dalaran into a phase that interfers with Nat while it’s still offered / in-progress … worth a try if all else is failing)

yes ! sorry for the late reply. To anyone having trouble with Nat Pagle showing up in Dalaran for this quest after having the pearl in the fountain. You must complete the Harbinger Quest in dalaran. Dalaran is phased into this version of dalaran for the quest i guess, and wont return to the normal version of dalaran until completing it. As soon as i finished the quest. I returned to the fountain and he showed up.
