) So as an Enchanter, I feel a bit screwed over at the moment. Enchanting is already a pain in the rear end to level up, and now one of the few chants that would give me +2 or +3 skill points was the enchanted crests… but the nascent crests needed to obtain those are no longer available. I mean, yes you can still buy them from Syenite, BUT the Weathered and Runed crests we need to exchange for them are no longer available. So one of the best options I had for increasing my skill level is just gone. I think it would really suck for anyone just getting started in Khaz Algar enchanting too. Why do this to us Blizzard? Please let us use Undermine crests (or whichever crests will be available in subsequent seasons) to purchase Nascent crests. I know as an item they’re kind of outdated now, but its taking away a great option for skilling up my over all enchanting.
The S1 crest still show up in patron order from time to time. Never do em cause of the mats costs, but they still pop up.
Ranked chanting mats is what totally killed my interest in enchanted crests. I could have weathered the lack of drakothyst, but a resource proc on a bunch of r1 mats is really not my cuppa.
Or just remove Enchanted Crests from our enchanting recipes altogether.
