How do you come up with names for your PvP characters? Do the names mean something to you or are they just random, etc?

Also, feel free to keep adding sock names, if you want. I thought that was fun.

Tsataga is a Cherokee word that means chicken.

I thought it was a funny name for a Tauren Balance Druid, given the Taurens in game aesthetic.

I just kept the name when I rolled BlueBird.

most of my toons are named after crimes … larceny, burglary, sedition, perjury, extortion, forgery, might be a few more i am missing

I have two themes. One is related to IRL career and healing, in-game (Palliative and Hospice are two of my Priests). The other theme is psychedelic, so pretty much every single other toon is named something related to that. I’m a simple woman. :woman_shrugging:

I can’t even be mad about being killed by someone with a ridiculous name. The humor of the situation cancels out any negativity I may feel.

I have the unfortunate mixture of a Scottish father and Irish mother, so my toons tend to have Celtic/Gaelic names. Catriona, Bronwyn, Rhonwyn, etc.

My mains are named after flowers. Hyacynth, Jonquille. Except for my dk tank. She’s IcySnuSnu lol (shout out to Futurama!)

Hellrisers-Just thought it was a good name for warlock

Yipman-Bruce Lee’s teacher(Monk)

Afh-Angel from hell(Priest)

Bdm and Afh my 2 favorite names I’ve came up with. Bdm is the one that started it all off for me though.
