Thinking companies have any power to enforce what names are allowed or not.
Look up how many characters are named Mario and get shocked.

Tiamat

Dragonite / Dragonair / Dratini
Look up people who are named “black” and try naming a char “black” nowadays.

Mario is a real world name so it can’t in general be enforced under IP unless you name it Mario Mario since the games are called Mario Brothers.
Since when does ‘‘Black’’ relate to ‘‘IP enforcement’’? Race bait?

Doesnt matter if it is or not. Fact is they can indeed ban names and can also do so with “IPs”
They can ban any name, IP enforcement or not. It’s just not something that is heavily enforced, as if names had to go by a ‘‘check-list’’ of companies, characters, words, colors and numbers.

All those names are currently on RP realms and have been for years. There is no IP enforcement or any real enforcement of the naming polices no matter the server type.

You can always report the name when you see them for naming violations however you better be quick since Microsoft who owns Zeni/Beth is buying Acti/Blizz.
