These names plates are hard to see. I am an older gamer, eyes are not what they once were 15-20 years ago. Is there a away to make the name plates bigger width wise, I know it can be longer, I want wider with bigger then the block cast setting. It is very hard for these old eyes to see what target needs to be interrupted.

Don’t blame your eyes or age, the Name Plates are hard to look at because they’re hideous and that’s not your fault! Hit Esc then go to Options, should be a new side tab for Name Plates and somewhere there you can make them bigger.
I’m not online right now so I don’t have the exact location but you can’t miss it. Unfortunately, you cant make them better, just bigger.
Not sure if it’s just me but they also feel harder to click on as well as harder to see what target you have selected.
platynator addon…its EXTREMELY easy to use and fixes all issues.
It hasn’t been talked about by the devs in a blue post but people have been asking for more customization options, like making them taller and wider independently (not just locked scaling of both), making the text bigger and a different default color than white (yellow is used in training programs for a reason because an HSI engineer was involved), etc.
In the meantime look at these on CurseForge and see if any of them will meet your specific need: BetterBlizzFrames, Platynator, or ElvUI.
Correct, Options → Nameplates → Scroll down past the preview → The next option is a slider called “Size”.
If the size isn’t sufficient somehow for you OP (you can make them quite large), let the community know what exactly would make them more visible for you (font style, font size, text shadow, etc) and we might be able to make a suggestion.
