Hello blizz.
Here is what is going on, this is during PVP so not sure about others but quickly reading the forums peopel say its happening in PVE too. So the Enemy name plates above users is not accruatly dipalying the correct health. it seems to be stuck at a random percent on the enemy nameplate. That could be anywhere from 90%-5%. The portrait HP is accurate, and i believe that the arena frames are accurate too. Doing a quick /reload Ui duing the middle of a battle WILL fix it, but then it will break again… and its hard to lose 5-10 seconds to do a /reload. Anyways.
Enemy name plates above the enemy are wrong. NOW… i can quickly ctrl+v to toggle engmy name plats on and off and that will bring it back for maybe a few seconds… but then it will get stuck again. That doesn’t change my personal resource health bar above my character, just the enemy name plates.
I have taken screenshots if youd like to see.

Is this with the stock UI nameplates? I’m using Plater and haven’t seen this at all.

Stock - good to know plater works I will download it
happens on stock ui, not sure cause. really confusing seeing something not die on my screen only for my frames to display everything right.
Any comment from Blizz? Acknowledge it exists? Fix it? This is game breaking in competitive PvP
still happening here and is incredibly confusing
this should be the #1 priority to fix, pvp literally unplayable like this.

Yeah, I’m encountering this bug in PvE too. No addons at all, so it’s the default nameplate system.
Yes, it happens in PvE too. I thought my Augmentation Evoker was literally doing 0 damage, until I checked the target frame and/or the thing died.
Still happening please fix

yeah,after update 10.1.5,this happen to me,please fix
I’m sure they’ll fix it, just like they did with the hunter feign death nameplate bug (It only took them 8+ months to fix it but hey they DID fix it!)
The hotfixes from last night seem to suggest they fixed this issue.
- “Fixed a bug causing displayed health to not update and match actual health values.”
Problem definitely not fixed. Nameplate health values all over the place this morning still.
