Ive downloaded some addons for changing nameplates in wow classic and it changed the nameplates and i reset them as I do not want them anymore and it wont reset.
Ive deleted all wow addons. renamed cache, wtf, interface to old.
Ive redownloaded wow entirely.
everytime i log in game every npc/ person within 20 ft names are white with there level beside there name.
I am completely lost and dont know how to fix the issue. Please help

Are you using any addon managers. Twitch and the sort. If so let’s uninstall there then rename the WTF, Interface and Cache once more.
After that let’s reset things server side.
Open the Character Selection screen. Select the character with issue. (Don’t log character in)
Click the Menu button in lower left corner - select System - then at bottom of pane select Reset User Options - click “Okay”. Now log in to that character.
(You will need to follow this for each Character you wish to reset)
Next open the Battle.net Launcher - right click on Launcher icon. Select Run as Administrator. Look for the Options link underneath the Wow-Legion emblem. Open that select Game Settings click the Reset In-Game Options button.
trying this right now because I’m having the same problem, not seeing this part Click the Menu button in lower left corner - select System - then at bottom of pane select Reset User Options - click “Okay”. Now log in to that character. When I click menu on the character select screen the pane at the bottom left says recommended. Gonna just try the battle.net launcher part and see if that works

Hey Tratt, I tried your suggestion and it did not work. I have spent the majority of the day trying to figure out how to fix my combat name plates to the original wow UI… So extremely frustrating. Nothing has worked. Please help!
Remove the addons and run the command /console cvar_default to undo any leftover settings that get stored on the servers.
