It seems nameplates aren’t working as intended in the Classic Era SoD client.
It only shows enemy and friendly names plates of your target, rather than all of those within the vicinity of you.

Working from memory, [ V ] on the keyboard toggles hostile nameplates on and off (combat only) and SHIFT + [ V ] toggles friendly (or maybe it is all) nameplates on and off.
Thanks, I know this turns on nameplates, though nameplates are only shown when an enemy or friendly is directly targeted. I don’t believe this how they are meant to function, with either the stacking or overlapping nameplates.
The issue is that a nameplate is only shown for the target, friendly or otherwise. Which is not very useful, nor how they are meant to function.
EDIT: This is a good example of vanilla nameplates working as intended: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ahLveOP6rE
Multiple enemies as well as allies on screen, most nameplates being shown.
But for me, even with a clean install, nameplates are still only being shown for my target.
you got it fixed somehow? i fight this problem now for 6 months, even did a hard reset complete uninstall, deleted all folders. Same problem…
This is also happening to me on Retail TWW, but only on 1 character and not my other ones. CTRL+V, SHIFT+V, V do not fix it. “Always show enemy nameplates” button in the settings does not work at all.
