The nameplates are still visible after disabling Plater but they have a rectangle around what looks like the default nameplate and the level of the mob is to the right of the rectangle instead of inside the oval. I’ve tried the cvar_default command but it seems to reset more than just the nameplate settings. Was wondering if anyone here had a fix. TIA
You’re going to want to do a full UI reset to remove the corruption. Please follow the instructions carefully. It’s quick, easy, and completely reversible* if it doesn’t resolve the issue.
Disabling an addon, unfortunately, doesn’t always solve corrupted UI issues. Removing it also doesn’t always do the trick. A full UI reset is the only reasonable way to get rid of corrupted UI features that remain after an addon is shut off or removed.
If for whatever reason you don’t want to do a full UI reset, you’d be better off making sure Plater Nameplates is updated, and then asking for help from Plater Nameplates’ developers:
