I’m trying to figure out how to make my current target nameplate larger than others. It currently does this on my mage, but no other toon (5 120s). This is also in the base UI because when I disable all addons it still works on mage only. If anyone has any tips it would be appreciated.
Real easy to do with a nameplate addon like KuiNameplates etc.
Not aware of a setting that makes the default ones larger for current target but you could use AdvancedInterfaceOptions to browse through the plethora of nameplate CVars and see if anything pops out.
Additional info:
I currently use kui nameplates. It doesnt have an option for target size, and as I mentioned it does it on my mage with all addons disabled.
I installed advanced interface options add on and checked my cvars. NameplateSelectedScale is set to default of 1 on all characters.
Could you provide a screenshot of what you’re seeing? Preferably two from the same perspective, one with a target selected and one without.

Fixed. Turns out the default scale for name plates is .8. Somehow and someway it had been set to 1.
