It’s getting increasingly frustrating that the minimum distance is locked to 60 yards! In places like Kara, I can’t tell what mobs are active and which are THROUGH THE FLOOR because of this setting!
Blizz, PLEASE let us reduce the minimum distance! Kara is already completely overtuned. Not being able to tell which mobs are close and which are in other rooms because of your idiotic settings is pissing people off!!!
Yeah, it’d be nice to have an easy way of hiding plates on other floors or in other rooms. Dungeons like Tol Dagor were suffering when you could see stuff on another level.
Is this still broken? Is there no work around with an addon or weak aura to Reduce the nameplate view distance? It’s incredibly frustrating to try to play Evoker with it’s 25 yard range when all my name plates show up at 60.
You can change it with Plater or manually using a console command…
/console nameplateMaxDistance 60Just change 60 to whatever you want.
I don’t know about Plater but the console command doesn’t work anymore. You can change it but the game will ignore the setting if it’s under 60. I’ve had mine set to 20 since Legion, and it stopped working in BFA.
i’m more concern for the LOS where nameplates go through. i wonder if there is a way to not show it. if i’m not wrong threatplate has that option but i’m all plater now
