Name stuff that you are currently happy with

I think the forum has gotten really negative over time and everyone keeps blaming this or that or keeps saying the game is bad for this or that reason, ect.

Name me stuff that you think are really fun currently or that you really enjoy, it can be about anything, I’ll go first.

  • I love the Trading Post, I think it’s one of the better cosmetic system they ever implemented and the fact it’s not bound to money (cause you can’t buy the Currency (outside of very specific amounts in very specific bundles)) makes it even better. The “quests” attached to it are also decent.
  • Dragonriding as a whole has made my experience a lot more fun overall, faster questing, more immerged experience and just speed speed speed. I love it.
  • The Incognito Secret we just solved was the most amazing “questline” made of secrets that we’ve ever got, and props to Josh for most of it, made a hell of a job there, also the mount looks incredible and has a hidden feature we don’t yet know about.
  • The Anniversary event with the Guest Relation quests was also really well-made, too many weeklies imo but great event overall and very nice rewards post-buff for the tokens.
  • Zones are beautiful too, whatever expansion there may be has just amazing zones, BFA with almost all of them, Shadowlands with at least 3 out of 5, Dragonflight for almost all of them and now TWW with for me 2/4 is still great.

What about you?

This expansion so far is an absolute winner for me. Delves are an amazing addition. And the zones are the best for leveling since BfA. So between having a proper solo end game progression path and finally some enjoyable leveling for my many alts, I’m going to be kept very busy!

Zones/Music: I am impressed with the zones in TWW, especially Hallowfall.

Cross serve guilds: My guild is in Proudmoore but I am on Sargeras. Pretty cool feature.

Personal orders: I don’t have to fly and meet with someone that I am crafting something for. Really convenient.

I love me gobbo. She’s very pretty.

I get nostalgic for leveling characters through the various expansions but timeline leveling was such a good addition to the game.

Many things!

  • Having access to queue for such a large number of things when I don’t want to do organised content.

  • Super pleased with my retail guild. A team that understands/accepts shift workers is a huge blessing.

  • As much as we give the forums grief, I’ve learnt a lot from the forums too. I think having my opinion on something challenged is a good thing and it helps to learn from multiple perspectives even if you don’t end up agreeing.

  • I love the camaraderie I’m experiencing when playing classic hardcore. It is something else having saved people’s hours and hours of time through a clutch heal. People sit down and talk and it feels very natural (and feels right!)

  • i love that WoW gives me multiple ways to progress based on how busy I am in life. Downtime: Progression raiding, M+, KSH. Super busy periods: KSM, LFR sets. This is probably one of the huge ones for me.

  • Evidence based on my guildies and forum that I can still see myself enjoying WoW when I hit my late 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond. We have people in guild who are in their 40s, with kids and they play just fine.

What does that look like? I still manage with a 7700k intel processor and a 1070 ultra gpu and I thought I had one of the older setups.

The zones are gorgeous, and we keep saying it because it bears repeating: Whoever designed Hallowfall deserves a freaking raise. AWESOME zone design in every respect and the artwork is outstanding.

I love Darkflame Cleft, and I think once it’s been on the M+ rotation, it’ll be the dungeon we all remember this expansion by. It will be the Freehold of TWW.

I love the changes they made to gathering professions for TWW. In DF, it was exhausting and tedious, and the knowledge trees felt like an absolute lie with gathering. In TWW, they’ve fixed most of what was wrong with DF gathering, and I hope that trend continues.

I love the fishing. I like so many things about it that it would take another post to explain it all, but suffice it to say, I really like the changes and the new things they put in for it.

I like the gearing for alts. I like how easy it is to get gear for alts with either solo or group content and upgrade it so that I don’t have to tax my guild with running me through things. I also really like that the gearing isn’t attached to any kind of RNG-fuelled expansion-specific system. I don’t have to get conduits or farm AP or pull the arm on a slot machine for the “right” expansion-specific traits. We just get the gear and upgrade the gear via whatever activity we like doing.

I loved the entire anniversary event. The Guest Relations chain leading in to the biggest secret we’ve seen in a while (maybe ever) was amazing, and it was so very well done. I haven’t had that much fun hunting down a secret since The Waist of Time.

I have really enjoyed the raid this tier. It’s not my favorite raid of all time, but it was a good one. My guild had some illnesses and absences this season, so it took us longer than usual to get AotC, but we were having so much fun, we didn’t care. It was good.

TWW has been really good so far, and I’m actually looking forward to season 2 instead of feeling burned out on the new expansion. All good things.
