Frosstfire, a gem of the community.

Nearly 1100 posts and not a single one of any value.

Yeah, for now. I hope they stay true to their troll behavior and reserve that name as well. Otherwise, once SoM is released, goodbye!

Says the level 10 alt account with 4 posts.

Who is your main? Probably someone who already posted in this thread.

6pm PST

I bet you would be surprised…

only surprised by your post, cuz everyone else got it.

so the realms in classic wow will have a “SOM” next to it to tell you?

I hope so., it doesn’t really specify in the Blizzard Post, it only says:

  1. Select World of Warcraft Classic. If you have more than one World of Warcraft account, you’ll see a second dropdown for Account. In that column, select the active account you want to play on.
  2. Click the Install button. You’ll see an installation progress bar that will show you when the installation is available to play.

I guess we will find out at 6PM PST

I got it since I was explaining it. Are you dumb or something? Or just obsessed with me?

I’ll need to find the exact text, but they did say in the blue post that the realms would have SoM next to it.

To create a character and play WoW Classic Season of Mastery, you will need to download and install the client first.

  1. Open the Battle.net desktop app and select World of Warcraft in the game selection menu.
  2. Select World of Warcraft Classic. If you have more than one World of Warcraft account, you’ll see a second dropdown for Account. In that column, select the active account you want to play on.
  3. Click the Install button. You’ll see an installation progress bar that will show you when the installation is available to play.
  4. Once the installation is complete, click the Play button.

You’ll need to select the Season of Mastery realm you want to play on which will be identified in the Realm list.

9pm local time in Paris, 9pm local time in New York, 1pm local time in Sydney. Not the same time worldwide.

I think based on the patch 1.14.1 notes, it states " This update allows Season of Mastery to exist alongside Classice Era Realms.

So my Assumption would be when we log into Classic era, we click change realms, and the the Realm Selection screen that opens has the Realm name, Type, Characters, Population. I think we will see it in here, under type. Something like PVE SOM, PVP SOM

There will be tabs on the bottom for SoM.

no one needed it explained…perhaps you were explaining it to yourself out loud so you’d know you got it.
