So now that this is seeming to half way be working since I was able to create my old name on my server can we get like a free name swap or change in the store? Like I’ve been waiting months to get my name back and now that I have it I can’t even use it on my original character. Feelsbadman.
There were ways to do it in the past via having a second account, but that got fixed due to it basically allowing for free name changes. Aint nothin’ in WoW for free.
There was a way to do it without a 2nd account, but that’s also gone… I don’t agree with changing your name in classic generally. Being forced to name change after migrating servers and then not following up with name reclamation though feels like we should at get at least 1-2 free name changes for that purpose. They let people transfer for free for months between servers, this isn’t super far out there of an idea.
