my name used to be Aethun which was supposed to be pronounced “ay-thunn” in my head but everyone ended up saying “ay-thoon” which just sounds dumb. Feels bad man

Lots of people like to pronounce Ursuola as “Urs-ooh-oh-lah,” and I always have to go “no no no, like the octopus witch.”
Got a nerubian whose alias in the city is Saithe. People keep saying Scythe. The “th” is soft. It’s more like “Psy” + “the” without the “uh” sound at the end.
I’ve just been calling them Thunder Buns.
While not technically correct, it’s also not as bad as “Beanura” that I usually hear over voice chat from people who are unfamiliar with the name.
