I have the option ticked “Always Show Nameplates” but every time after battle the nameplates turn off, is there something I am missing?
Hitting the “V” key will turn off and on nameplates. Can you be accidently hitting it or do you have something bound to that key?
for me ctrl V turns NPs on and off and I have nothing bound to that just after combat the NPs turn off
Ctrl V turns All name plates off or on. Just V turns ENEMY name plates off and on.
If it’s not that, then posting in the bug report forum might help.

If v doesn’t work, check/set your Show Enemy Nameplates keybind.
Thanks but sadly it’s not just enemy name plates it’s friendly name plates too. After I kill even an NPC all my nameplates deactivate. I have my nameplates to show at all times but it’s not working.
Grab AdvancedInterfaceOptions, check the actual CVars. That said, if you’re using a nameplate addon it may not resepect them.

Should it be in white for it to be working?
1 means on, 0 means off.
White means it’s set to the default value.
thx. I turned off my nameplate addon and it stopped doing it so something going on with the addon.
