Probably overplayed but this. I seen so many TikToks where they put it over pets that passed away and I’m like
I shed a tear and remember the chorus when my wife buys me low-fat cottage cheese as a snack.
wiggles toes
hmm. songs never get to me but movies/animations do.
cant explain it
some songs will get me hyped or happy but i’ll never let it take me to the other side of the spectrum
This song always brings me to tears.
I remember first seeing it on TV when I was a toddler.
Vomiting was always the most stressful thing, so I would sing this song to myself as a little kid to try and calm myself down, backing myself out of the nausea (vomiting is 99.9% of the time anxiety induced, as I rarely get sick).
The pure nostalgia and emotion that is linked to this song is likely why I always tear up.
There’s one song that brings back lots of happy childhood memories and often causes me to have tears of joy:
That is so true, it also intensifies my seizures. There were a few times before I was on my meds, the chemical issues going on caused by Epilepsy give me constant anxiety and would make me sick like that. Having a doctor had no clue what they were doing, with an evenly horrible staff, decided that my meds weren’t “made for what I have” (when it was specifically made for for seizures and anxiety); so I was going through pure hell for two weeks, thanks to them. Ugh…
Lyrics
Ti amo, God how I love you so
My heart just won’t let go
Day after day, I’m still holdin’ on
Even though you’re gone
Ti amo, wasn’t I good to you?
I did all that I could do
To make you want to be here with me
I thought you loved me
I can’t believe, you could just turn and leave
You did it so easily
You pulled my world out from under me
Look what you’ve done to me
How could you end it this way
After the love that we made?
God, how I wish you had stayed
Can’t you see that I just want you back?
Ti amo, I never had a clue
That I was losin’ you
You never once let me know
You were lettin’ me go
Oh, I guess it was there in your eyes
Guess it was there in your sighs
Guess it was there in your lies
I was blind then, couldn’t face the end
Ti amo, thought we’d go on and on
Thought we had something strong
You pulled my world out from under me
Look what you’ve done to me
How could you end it this way
After the love that we made?
God, how I wish you had stayed
Can’t you see that I just want you back?
Ti amo, God how I love you so
My heart just won’t let go
Day after day, I’m still holdin’ on
Even though you’re gone
Guess it was there in your eyes
Guess it was there in your sighs
Guess it was there in your lies
I was blind then, couldn’t face the end
Ti amo, thought we’d go on and on
Thought we had something strong
You pulled my world out from under me
Look what you’ve done to me
How could you end it this way
After the love that we made?
God, how I wish you had stayed
Can’t you see that I just want you back?
Ti amo, wasn’t I good to you?
Did all that I could do
To make you want to be here with me
I thought you loved me
I can’t believe, you could just turn and leave
You did it so easily
You pulled my world out from under me
Look what you’ve done to me
Ti amo, God how I love you so
My heart just won’t let go
Day after day I’m still holdin’ on
Even though you’re gone
I don’t think I’ve ever cried because a song came on, but a lot of the linkin park songs make me feel sad knowing that Chester was hurting when he sang them. I saw them in concert a couple of times and really enjoyed the music. Now I can’t listen to it the same way.
I can’t always listen to it because it’s too painful, but it’s beautiful…
I loved that whole album especially " ticket to the moon "
It’s really too bad that he never got the right help, his voice was so iconic and strong. I remember seeing an interview with him, just a month before… and he sounded okay but we knew he wasn’t.
The album he did with STP was a masterpiece, called High Rise. He said in that interview, that High Rise was one of his favorite albums to record.
