After you’ve changed your name, anyone know how long it takes for Warcraft forums to catch up?
Its been 2 days so far. I can’t update Warcraft Logs until I’m able to claim the newly named character on Warcraft forums and so far, the new name doesn’t exist. Thanks for any info.
I believe any major changes to your character(s) will result in a new “copy” of that character in the forums. This happened when I transferred my character to a different realm. I had a new copy of my character with 0 posts, and when I switched to it, my old character profile was deleted (though the posts still exist).
Try clicking on your icon in the top right and then “Change Character” at the bottom of that menu. Is your character there?
Yeah been trying every hour this morning. Character with new name is not there
Not sure, but I transferred about 2 months ago, so this character no longer exists.
I also don’t have my new name/realm available to use on the forums, so… I guess it depends?
Day 4… forums still doesnt have new name.
