I know paid character services were not an option originally, but I really hope they’re added to the game soon. Particularly name and appearance changes. I can’t think of a way any of the paid services have a profound impact or any negative effects on the game socially, which I believe was Blizzard’s stated reason for making many choices about what changes to the original game to include in Classic. There are more reasons to allow them than not.
Name changes impacts player reputation
pretty flawed logic considering you can get a free name change by taking a server transfer and just making a level 1 with your old name. you can do this now with the free transfers and if they ever introduce paid transfers you’ll effectively be getting the name change option built in for free.
also nobody cares about reputation or blacklists lol, this isn’t 2004. half this game’s community goes around ninja looting what they want and dropping n bombs in world chat and people think it’s funny.
A name, in Classic, means everything. People who act rude, nonja, ect should have to pay the price of rerolling if they do it to much. The only way I could see name changes working, is of your battle tag is visible (on the nameplate) so we know who it is.
No name changes! You earn your reputation under one name. If you want a new name, then make a new character.
lol nobody pays any price, you have zero power, your SJW blacklist is meaningless and nobody cares about your feelings. go to bed, grandpa.
It means a lot to me. I want to not group with people who are like that. I have only 2 people on my list. And, one I’m debating taking off. It’s pretty rare, but I want to know that character will never be in my group again.
- server transfers dont exist yet except high pop to low pop select servers.
- when they did exist in vanilla it was 6 month cd
Personal reputation --> all of the dumb reasons you can come up with
eww, just eww.
