Name at least ONE thing you like about TWW

I walked into Cinderwold and had to stop and listen.

Mountain Thane is kinda neat.

The Earthen have grown on me tremendously and I am excited to play one

The music goes ridiculously hard.

I’m almost ready to go as far as it’s finally beaten out WotLK’s tracks for me.

Ah… the Shire vibes I got when I heard this track for the first time in the main theme.

I can name a lot more than one. I am loving this new expansion.

  1. Delves
  2. The PvP (at least right now) is fun
  3. The Earthen race has me pumped
  4. I like the new dungeons so far
  5. The story has been really good IMO
  6. The new areas are fun with the skyriding

I can go on and on about how much I love TWW so far but unfortunately there are people who want everything to be their way and if it is not their way they do not want anyone else to enjoy it either.

You gotta understand that the forums are full of complainers and the forums make up only a small amount of the player base, the larger player base is too busy enjoying the game to come on here and cry over everything.

This. Definitely. I’m probably annoying people in general chat because I keep bringing up how good the music is. Best since MoP (for me).

I also like the zones, art, and delves. Time will tell, but I could see myself sticking around this xpac a lot longer than DF. If they’d given us a race I cared about or Tinkers, I’d for sure be here the long haul.

By the way, who wants to bet an ice cream those Trolls in the last zone are the next neutral Allied Race to give Alliance a Horde race?

Azj-Kahet’s theming is so freaking good. Imagine our main expansion hub in City Of Threads. Cant express how much I love the architecture and music.

Yes. Big Howard Shore vibes for sure. It’s also got GW2 Heart of a thorns, vibes. In fact, Ahj-kahet reminds me of tangled depths in that game. Lots of verticality in some parts of AK.

I get some Jerry Goldsmith/1980’s coming of age movie vibes on this one:

The map changes are amazing. I love that i can click an icon and it will give me the directional marker. I love the small qualoty of life additions.

Did PvP gear drop or is everyone in questing/crafted stuff? I haven’t pvp’d yet, thinking that won’t start till the season.

It was kinda neat you’re left to kinda figure out what the heck the earthen are talking about. Edicts and directives and all that and the context. Same for Oathborn and Unbound. I kinda thought that was gonna be the whole “oh that’s the alliance ones and those are the horde ones” but then a later quest declares everybody is now unbound.

PvP is now available. I got a full set from doing comp stomp last night.

I loved the quest line with Brennok and Haimaz. That was beautiful.

Basically, there are three things:
Music
Art
Delves

And the possibility of having a lizard Paladin.

Warbound.

However it does not apply to all that it should, it is a step in the right direction though. So that’s nice.

The visuals and the zones are the best I have ever seen, uncontested goated zone design this expansion. Unfortunately, it seems that they forgot to put stuff in them that makes them worth while. We need like 10 more areas akin to the “Light the flame” area in Hallowfall where you charge up those braziers with the fragments and it spawns stuff. That is the most fun zone design I’ve seen and it’s a shame that there is only one spot like that. We need like 2-3 of those types of areas in each zone.

That was the one with the husband forgetting his wife right?

Yeah that’s twice this expansion got me with the dementia earthen.

Heck memories are a reoccurring thing this expansion, its neat.

No but that was good too! This was the one where brennok was responsible for keeping his memory bank filled with memories of other things, and he feared doing his own things would cause his limited memory banks to become too full, and thus he would cease to be able to share stories with others. So he asked you to get some regular miner clothes so after his final recitation (felt a bit like bilbo’s birthday party) he hit the road. And haimaz says she will follow him.

Basically another close-in look at earthen becoming tired of their programming and seeking out life for themselves. But in a very human way. Getting to live the life they want.
