Dark Age of Camelot’s PvP
There weren’t any dangerous areas in AC, especially since it was a point-based game and you could just dump tons of points in run speed to zip past anything.
Probably not enough loot in WoW to make it work, it takes tons of salvaged materials to get a fully tinkered item. But the salvaging and tinkering system in Asheron’s Call. I miss the max tinked armor and weapons.

Sticky melee says wut?
And I don’t know if you’re talking about AC like… 5+ years after it released or something.
But the Obsidian Plains were KNOWN as death. I played from release up until WoW released… those first couple of exciting, worthwhile years.
During that time, Obs Plains was death. Any single tuskarr or Virindi would 1-shot you, and at any given moment you could easily be surrounded by 50 of them.
And no, even with full points in run, you could never totally outrun something. Sticky melee. And certainly on the Obs Plains when… there was nowhere to run. It was one spawn point full of 12+ mobs next to another spawn point of 12+ mobs. There was no “running away.”
Your only hope was to stick by the portal to Disaster Maze and if you got in trouble, you jumped inside and ported out.
