There are many of us who take roleplay half serious and thoroughly enjoy it. if it weren’t for roleplay I would find a new game, tbh.

No they don’t. 30 seconds in any town but Silvermoon disproves that and even there it’s 50-60% at best.
How much free time do you have on your hands if you just sit around in game for hours reporting people for something as trivial as that? Who appointed you the name police? Just because you think a name is “stupid” or that it doesn’t belong on an RP server, doesn’t mean those people should be banned. My god are you seriously THAT full of yourself? Did you take the time to speak to every one of those people you reported? Do you know how/if they RP and chose their names for a specific reason? Or did you just get your panties in a twist because something doesn’t fit with your choice of play style? I’m guessing it’s the latter. You really need to get over yourself and stop trying to control how other people choose to play the game that they pay for.

Most people on WRA have profiles. I’m not going to sit there and count connected realm characters in my assessment because off realm RP profiles aren’t visible to me. I don’t know where you’re spending your time that you only see profiles at 50 to 60% but it certainly isn’t WRA.

Your guild name has no spaces between words, not very RP of you. Should probably be reported and your whole guild should not be allowed to name anything. Clear abuse of the naming policy

Except it’s pretty bizarre if non-RPers are trying to enforce RP Naming conventions on RP servers, isn’t it? That does seem a little backwards, like businesses in China scolding people for copyright infringement.

I’d bet that a great deal of players aren’t even aware of the name rules that RP servers carry. It would go a long way to just put a little blurb above the name box when creating characters on RP servers that says something like, “Fantasy-like names are required by the roleplay realm ruleset. Please be considerate when choosing your name.”
I’d like this. Even if you first make a character it makes a prompt letting you know that their are extra rules for an RP realm before you make a character.
I guess the ignore button and learning to ignore stupid names is out the window.

According to wowcensus there’s approximately 484,710 Horde on WrA you really think 50% let alone 99% have a TRP/MRP profile?
Come on lady. I was being generous when I said 99% don’t have one, it’s more like a fraction. Even among those with fantasyish names the vast vaaast majority don’t have TRP/MRP when you click on them.
There is no “wowcensus” site. There is a census section at warcraftrealms, which is a nonsecure website I would never cite as a source or recommend to others. Digicert has a very good section that explains the reasons it would be unwise to link to such a site. Realmpop is a secure site and should always be used instead, as they update once a week and use a secure https protocol. I’m not sure what the purpose of your post was aside from leading people to bad sources for info.
According to realmpop there are 409, 083 active characters on WRA, 57% being horde. Additionally, your anecdotal hand count assumption does not count as an accurate statistical indicator of the number of RP profiles extant on the realm, nor does anything else you’ve provided in terms of “evidence”.

I honestly don’t notice anyone’s name if they aren’t in Guild anymore.

I agree, sadly however I have seen Blizzard let some REEEEEEEALLY bad things slide before so I would not hold my breath for them to do any kind of community management anytime soon.
