Good luck OP. Our cms have shown a disregard to even the most basic forum rules. How do you expect blizzard to enforce the rules if blizz themselves don’t follow them? You see all the time the blues breaking them with regards to professionalism.

Normally I am in support of Rp name enforcement in RP servers even if i dont report names myself. This idea however, is Draconian and awful.

Seriously OP there are many, many people with you. I can barely stomach doing RP events anyone due to the toxic nature the realms have become to the community. Reporting names just does not work.

For example, it took over 6 months to get a prominent character’s name changed due to the racist context of it. While I won’t post the name here due to it being part of a GM action, it did involve the use of the [name not allowed]*. This person also had their name changed multiple times for having other various names all involving the [name not allowed] and / or [name not allowed]. Yet nothing happens.

Why do you let this happen? The GM even got rude to us because we filled out tickets. Like it is our fault that Blizz has RP naming policies, naming policies, a TOS, and even a EULA.

*Wait… this is word is not even allowed on the forums, why is it allowed in game?!

Now this is on live. I’m not even talking about how bad the Classic RP server is. I put in maybe 50 automated reports the 2 hours I tried to meet up with friend and just couldn’t handle it. Sadly I know it isn’t going to change.

Anyways, ranting away. OP I feel your pain. The 100+ people on my RP communities feel your pain. We want our servers back. We want Blizz to care… but there is no bottom line in supporting RP.

Lol once I was trying to find a good name for my male Draenei and I couldn’t find one that wasn’t taken so I hit the name generator a couple times and got Nub. Thanks a lot name generator!

Were you breaking the law? Because the jackholes with non-RP names on an RP server are breaking the rules.

In real life you break the law every day, there are too many laws and too many cops trying to find creative ways to punish people that annoy them or they feel need punishing.

But call the cops, I am sure they deserve the swatting for letting their trees grow over the fence, partying too hard or letting their kids yell.
